Looks like Trump is forming his own social media site:

The life will always find a way-Changing this to
the extreme right wing will always find a way.

They should find a way.

I find it a little disturbing that the left wants to block free speech on their private channels. What are they afraid of hearing? Trump is out... why do they not want him to speak. If anything, they should hear everything he says.

Is it a surprise? The democratic underground, Huffington post, salon.com, etc all have TOS agreements that ban dissenting opinions. It has been that way for years.

Evidence of all their wrong-doing. Although, owning the justice department already seems to solve that problem for them.

Trump can have a press conference. I'm sure he could be interviewed on Fox, or OAN, etc.

He can't be silenced so you're just whistling in the dark.

It's not only the left.

Have on several occasion seen my right wing friends saying things like

The left should not have the right to speak.

The same goes for my left wing friends.
Also they want to block right wing people from free speech.

Don't lean left or right. Lean forward.
Or just bend over and get loaded like a shotgun.

ABC/Ipsos poll. Majority wants Trump removed before his termr ends. Majority syees him responisble for the Capitol attack. Trust in Republican key figures seriously shaken, Pence, Cruz, McConnell do not get away well. Pelosi (D) also not liked much.

https://www.ipsos.com/sites/default/...2021_final.pdf

Myself, I think he must be thrown out, and the cabinett and Pence should be the ones doing it. The risk that else Trump comes back in four years and candidates again, is too big.

I read this evening for the first time ever that Pence maybe seems to shift towards it. For the sake of everything holy, man: if you have any tiny little remains of self-esteem left in yourself, do it.

There is a very good reason why there is an impeachment process and there is the 25th Amendment. They are not interchangeable. If it can be proven that Trump has committed high crimes and misdemeanors then he should be impeached. That would require introducing articles of impeachment, hearings in the House and then a vote. Then there would have to be a trial in the Senate and then another vote.

The 25th Amendment is not meant to be a replacement for impeachment. Doing so would almost certainly be unconstitutional.

It would be vengeance on the part of the Pelosi party if they continue in this venue

This could backfire on them

I still think the only reason is to prevent the possibility of Trump running in 2024 even if he said he wouldn't, however, I wasn't in the capital building under threat so I might feel differently if that were so.
