I think this will happen in some decades after their liberation of Ukraine-They have to rebuild their army and change way of warfare.

Considering the current low birth rates, high birth defects, drug and alcohol abuse, and now Mad Vlad Putin’s 3 day SMO killing off a large number of the male population. I don’t think Russia will ever be able to rebuild their army, economy, or future.

You can also add to the above with the fact that a good number of their best, brightest and college educated people including Engineer's of various disciplines have left Russia, probably never to return. Putrid wanted to return Russia to it's perceived " World power status and standing." Putrid instead turned Russia into a vast Intellectual and cultural wasteland and a worldwide pariah, terrorist state.

In a week they lose a month worth they've ceased to function as an army if this war just suddenly stopped and Russia went back to lick its wounds like it wouldn't be able to do anything for a generation of any meaningful kind of military the whole thing is Russia is shooting themselves in the foot like the whole decision of Putin to do has been absolutely ridiculous.

But they are able to stop Ukraine from advancing by fortifications, mines, equipment, human beings in the meat grinder that is what Robotyne is Russia just throws everything in the kitchen sink there, and it's continuing this will never be the country what it was. For them saying they have enough they do not that is shown in this summer Russia is shaping a new offensive for months, but that offensive will not begin this year maybe never they do not have the armour or artillery they are losing that more than they can get out of stock or produce.

How much does this cost the Russian in lost soldiers and materials ?
How huge is the Ukrainian reserve
Are they able to advance to Tokmak ?

What they can get out of stock or produce, they're losing now in a week for soldiers I would not know but allot, but that is on both sides. Ukrainian reserve is not really used, those new brigades with all that ally equipment can not be used because the breach is not a real breach. To get to Tokmak has become political military that plan has not worked and will not work because of the many fortifications they need to use infantry that is going to slow and Russia send all it best forces to this area if they cleared one line after that there will be another too many to slow. What Ukraine is doing good is the attrition that is working, Ukraine need to change the plan they first had their offensive is on the wrong place their goal is not visible. When Ukraine can keep up destroying Russian amour and artillery instead of gaining kilometres, they also can win this.

Apart from the "ifs" we will see no mayor changes as for the "time" Ukraine has the whole winter to destroy amour, artillery and supply that is hurting the Russians now for a couple of weeks. We will see some fighting, but not as much as in the summer, Ukraine needs to keep Russia hungry for ammo to weaken them

So Russia, a country with huge resources of oil and gas, has to plan how the government can shut down various people's supplies so it does not cause a rebellion.
