I give him credit for knocking out 3 tigers and TF's King tiger.
he had a nice last stand but as with all...you can't hold us back forever

Don't you just hate rangers?

There was a trail of wrecks on a path towards my base.

Good match hunter... Almost had it the first time. but yer cromwells, and churchill were too much for my small force to take down.

The second one... well my performance was piss poor... at the high I had some engineers, afiew ATs, a sniper, 4 infantrys (maby) and a howitzer...

Also a good matches crecy...
the first one I screwed up with chooseing the panzer elite, which without regular army bunkers, and support are hard to use.

The second match! I screwed up again, I moved on the points too fast and didnt secure my flanks. he brought out planes eventualy and just slaughtered my infantry when I was trying to recap points... how nice... eventualy he brought in abunch of AT and bunkers, and every assult I led was distroyed, even with my king tiger supporting... distroyed.

In the first match I got the high fuel points in my control and had enough time to build good defenses.

The second one. I noticed you used quite a lot infantry so I choosed the airborne. Particularly one strafing was pretty deadly when I destroyed like three squads when they were capping. And I found a 'coward-but-effective-tactic-against-infantry-blobs'. Recon plane over your HQ, you retreated your troops and then I strafed to pin them down and bombed the pinned troops with the P-47 .
Again I got good defenses with MG nests and AT guns so you did not even had a chance to break through, especially when I had 4/5 map in my control.

Good games, as always!

Let's see if I can find a few pictures..

I bought Opposing fronts. Installed it. Started to download first patch to play it online. I get the message "File corrupted. Try downloading again". I tried to install patches manually but all patches whines that I already have version 2.0.0.1 even my game version is 2.5.0.0. It's always nice to buy games which don't work. FUUUUUUUUUUUUUCCCCCKKKKKKK!!!!

Edit. Reinstalled it to the default location and the autopatcher works!

Yeah, you played much better compared to the previous games. Few things what "went wrong" and prevented you from winning.

-You should have be more agressive. I did not have a single troop in the whole north section of the map. You could have taken the points easily.

-And as I did not have troops there you should have flanked me rather than attack straight on against my defenses. For example I did not have any defenses to the 25ers in that case you had attacked me from the north.

-You propably also missed the lack of heavy armor. You got the tiger but it was too late then and the stug does not stand against the firefly. Or you should have build AT's alternatively.

I'm not a master of this game at all but I believe that in some degree because of these you were an underdog. I've played only two games as brits now so read a few counter british strategy guides and you have a big chance to win me!

Yea... that was my biggest issue. I fight best when I have Tanks, and halftracks, with infantry supporting. Also the fact I was trying to build with barely any manpower. I couldnt keep the pressure on the whole front.
