No need to worry, I just duct taped my broken joystick and it's fine. Michael Weston is right. Duct tape DO make you smarter, not guns.

Yus, it's Cochlear implants. :rotfl: (I'd never touch plastic surgery I'm happy with what I got :rotfl Been deaf since birth, cochlear implanted at 4 (I'm 20 now ). So yah Some of you probably remember I got Heroes of the Pacific game. But it doesn't seem as cool as IL2, lol. I've already got a Flight Joystick and Headsets, just need the game. No problems with a girl in the squadron? I'm looking forward to getting the game

EDIT: Odd, the UBI site can't find IL2. I used the game browser. And it's there but when I clicked on IL2: Sturmovik, it led me to a page that said it can't be found. Found out I can DL it off Steam as well.

Age 16? Were you born deaf or went deaf? I hope ya got the "Freedom" processor, it works brilliantly. I picked up low sounds like fizzing drinks in a cup that I couldn't pick up with my previous processor. Certainly an improvement for talking over phones/mikes too. However I'm having Dry Cell/Non-rechargable battery drain problems Cochlear centre said since I'm 100% deaf, the earlier implant won't be able to give me enough power. Might have to go thru operation again to upgrade *sarcastically* Oh joy. (a friend of mine had menigitis, so the skull thickening with her cochlear implant was problematic and she had to go thru again) @ TF: ah thanks for the link, I was planning to get a boxed version. That way if this computer decides to hate me and not work, I can easily DL it onto another, lol

I was born as hearing, then I got sick as a newborn and became deaf. I'm used to wearing hearing aids and then I made a decision to get cochlear implant when I was in high school. It's not funny after the surgery because I heard the bells ringing inside my head after recovery.
