If you look closer, there are throwers as well as single and double roll-off chutes. The lookouts are a feature I am using since a while ... @radiator: I took the pictures while testing. I hope the model to be download-ready within the next 7 to 10 days. |

After looking at many of these photos in this thread, I dare say SH3 is still by far THE Silent Hunter simulation of all time. With all the mods and super mods done by so many talented people here in the forums over the years, it's no wonder many are going back to it and many are still playing it.
The proof is in the screenshots all have posted. A hearty salute to you all.... mod makers and players alike.

After a long break and being inspired by some LP's I've picked SH3 back again. Some shots from LzS. Maximillian von Bern first patrol.
U-48 Departs Kiel on September 1st, 1939 September 7th, 1939 AM 54 - Ship sunk! SS Port Denison (Ore Carrier), 8084 tons. Cargo: Iron Ore. Crew: 61. Crew lost: 7 U-48 on the prowl near Ireland September 15th, 1939 AM 79 - Ship sunk! SS City of Dieppe (Large Merchant), 8054 tons. Cargo: Sugar. Crew: 76. Crew lost: 52 September 21st, 1939 U-48's triumphant return to Kiel. 16,138 Tons and #2 on the rankings at the start of the war! |
