Will a miracle occur? Will the mere presence of Rafa miraculously turn a bunch of losers into a bunch of winners?

TOON went down 1-0 to a pretty spectacular goal that was marginally offside but at least they put up a spirited fight which has been lacking thus far this season.

Big derby game on Sunday, TOON at home to the mackems.

If the TOON lose they must surely face relegation.

TOON scored an equaliser in the final few minutes.

Not convinced they will escape relegation either.

With number one choice goalkeeper Tim Krul already out through injury for the rest of the season and now number two choice Rob Elliot suffering the same fate, Newcastle must rely on number three choice and youngster Karl Darlow.

Yet another devastating blow to the TOON in their desperate fight against relegation.

1. I truly hope TOON will manage to stay in Premier League-It's the only way I can see them play, when my channel are showing The TOON against some other team. Every channel that show football from England are only showing matches from Premier League.

2. The big event gets closer and closer day by day-I'm talking about the European championship in France

TOON are trailing 0-1 to Norwich at half time.

Match was 2-2 at the end of the normal 90 minutes but Norwich scored a third and winning goal in the 93rd minute.

It would appear we are doomed.

TOON took a step nearer the inevitable relegation drop going down 3-1 at Southampton yesterday.

Just finished watching the mackems getting beat 2-0 off Leicester so it looks like TOON and/or mackems need to overhaul Norwich who are currently four points above the mackems and six above the TOON if either expect to survive.

Next game: TOON v Swansea and Norwich v Mackems.

The usual. An owner who thinks challenging for titles is too expensive and a manager who believes he is only judged on the financial bottom line. Frustrating when in the summer they say there are literally hundreds of millions available to buy players and they spend 10mil.

I don't think there will be much to stop Leicester now. I should probably be more upset by Arsenal bottling it (we were in 1st at the beginning of January), but small teams having big successes is what the league pyramid system is about. I am naively optimistic that it will be good for the sport.. lol.

They are also keeping Sp*rs from winning the league for the first time in decades, so I am also thankful for that

Looks like Leeds will have three rather good and interesting home games next season with Newcastle the mackems and Villa
