Just curious. Is the Atlantic water really that transparent? I know the Pacific is, but is the Atlantic Ocean like that, too?

from the surface, you would not see much.

underwater, it depends more on water conditions, although you rarely see more than 100 feet.

not much difference between the Atlantic and the Pacific other than the water colour.

@Cap.Palla

Thanks for the screen shots - I didn't get to see HMS Eagle when I got her in the SW approaches to the Channel - it was pitch dark and I could only make out her wake. Obviously the Watch Officer had "Eagle" eyes when he id'd her So it's nice to see a picture of a carrier in broad daylight!

I am still tweaking the shadows , and to be able to control properly the shadows settings is really really difficult
