UBI,

I'll buy SH4 when Neal Stevens confirms it can be considered a finished product.

Looking 4ward to that time.

SH 4 is an adequate product at the moment - but with patch 1.3 it could be so much more enjoyable. Please release a new patch fixing the remaining problems as soon as possible.

Thanks,

I totally agree.

Patch 1.3 needed. Confirmation.

I played with SH I, II, III. Why deploying so much graphics science while forgetting IA basics ? Attacking a convoy protected by 8 DD triggers such a mess that you are safe at persicope depth and can even rearm and attack once more...

Ubisoft must understand that neglecting SH IV will tarnish its global image.

I have bought EVERY Silent Hunter game that Ubi have released. Die-Hard, Spanner whammer, Rivet head counter, call me what you will. I have always had an affinity for Subsims, please Ubisoft, honour the Die-hard, the quick go-getter and the Rivet header in releasing a much needed third patch. You know we might be a Small bunch of niche market gamers , but we ARE passionate about THIS genre of gaming. You have always done the right thing in releasing patches for this series, Don't let SH4 which should be your Coup De Grace...Fall into shallow seas to rest there for all time, undone, unfinished

Respectfully yours, Purchased one of only 3000 Limited Edition Delux boxed sets

Did they put a disk check in it just like they did with SH3?
If they did, then it's garbage. Other developers don't "have disk checks" i.e. Blizzard, (Starcraft - Broodwars) which by the way sold millions and is still a working and demanding game today, which is a long time since it was released.
They are still having tournaments with this game and will continue.

PLEASE ADD THE PATCH/ Signed

This seems to be a concern for more games these days. Rush the game out the door to raise revenues, and then abandon the game before you have fully patched it up in an effort to look for even more revenues from a new title. This type of activity is a huge threat to PC gaming in general. People lose interest in PC games when they experience poor game play on nearly every PC game they buy.

Ubisoft, you need to fully patch this game up before you can move onto other titles in this series. It is a must for the survival of the series.

Default I want my next car to be a lemon, don't you??

I have been an absolute addict of the SH series, but the current state of SH4 leaves me very disappointed and sincerely questioning why I should purchase Ubisoft products in the future. Like any other product of and kind of quality in the Western markets, this piece of software should be supported until the major fixes are in place. I'm getting ready to purchase a console (and will continue faithfully as a PC gamer) but I can't buy Ubisoft products in future until months have passed (and even if then) because of my knowledge of incomplete productions. I really want to play - just fix it so that I can and then you can sell me many more future products. Thanks!!

Default Please Patch

I have been a fan of SH-3 and eagerly anticipated SH-4. But the appearance of so many bug reports has made me withhold my purchase. I actually held a copy of it in my hand at Circuit City a few hours ago, but I put it back on the shelf and will leave it there until an effective patch resolves these many issues. Thanks Neal, for spearheading this effort.
