Silent Hunter 4 patch v1.3: Where? When? What?

Please make PATCHES to fix all the unmoddable problems. I would settle for this. Ubisoft, if you take the time to look at every post, just count the number of first posts in this thread. This is mine and I would bet there are at least 100 posts where the posters count is 1. This tells me there are a lot more people out there concerned enough to sign up just to voice their oppinion here. If you fail to patch and decide on a SH5, the only way I would buy is if you gave SH4 registered users 75% off. Why 75? I say this because I feel the released game was about 25% of what it should have been before patches. Some of the mods have made it playable for me, but no mod is going to fix the save game bug. If I offended any fanboys out there, sorry, this is my opinion.

Complete the game and do it right. Its a great game that just needs to be polished and finished with another patch!

Do UBIsoft do any beta testing... If so you would of thought that all these bugs etc would of been flagged up before the final release ?

Please do the right thing and stand buy your customers who bought the game and release a patch that goes some way to making the game what it was intended to be. Come on UBI play the game

I did not buy sh4 because i liked the look of the artwork on the box or because it goes with my copies of sh2 and sh3, i bought it because i wanted to play it but so far all i have done with it is mess about with it checking out a few of the mods. Please ubisoft fix the game so i can play it properly, so i can feel more like this than feel like .

This game really needs something to help it out. I've gone back to SH3 - it's really more enjoyable. So far I consider SH4 a poor clone of SH3 and am sorry I wasted my money on it.

We need this patch! you made a great game.. but its got flaws.. lets fix this puppy and call it done! we want a game that is finished and you want happy customers.. its a win win situation! come on already!

I've not read all the way through this thread (55 pages!), but I'll echo the sentiments of the original post.

SH4 has all the makings of a great game. Visually, it's absolutely stunning, but it's simply not complete. So many things don't work, and it's an awful shame to see what could be a wonderful product to end up as a half-finished idea, with so much potential remaining.

Please, Ubisoft, listen to our voices, and clear up the most important remaining bugs. If you do, and if you decide to invest in developing another sim, you will have sales from a solid fan-base on the grounds of the whole Silent Hunter franchise. If you don't, I for one won't ever consider buying anything from you again.

This product is far from ready for beta-testing .... it's somewhere between proto-typing and alpha-testing with a few incomplete tasks in spec'ing the product

SH4 is a great game. Make it the finest sub simulation ever by providing another patch!
