Actually, this is the outfit I'll be wearing this weekend:

Unfortunately, all the extra time I have been given by the hibernating Bears is being used up wading through mountains of homework. stupid college...

http://www.nfl.com/scores

[a light snow slowly floats down on a cold, gray monestary somewhere in Siberia.] The peaceful scene is shattered by the sound of thumping helicopter blades. A tired monk looks up from his cold bowl of gruel and glances out the window.
Suddenly, a black and silver Mi-24 Hind with da Raiders' emblem painted on the door circles around the monestary and fire a burst of machine-gun fire. The Hind sets down infront of a delapidated log cabin. A group of Delta-Force soldiers kick the door down...
"Neal? Neal Stevens?"
"Yes, I am brother Neal. Who are you?"
"I'm Nikimcbee and I'm here to rescue you!, I've got the football scores! I'm here with Ben Kenobi [oops wrong fantasy] The Raiders have won a game "
"What? Is that possible."
"No time to talk! We gotta get outta here before next week's game!"
The team lifts the broken monk and takes him to the chopper. A monk, with an AK-74 runs around the corner, fires a quick burst and yells out:" you can't leave here! The Raiders still suck!!, They'll laugh at you!!"

One of the DF guys, in a mohawk and wearing a lot of gold bling fires a burst, cutting the disgruntled monk in two. "I pity da foo, who cheers against da Raiders."

"We've got him, lets get outta here!"
BA is hit over the head so he'll sleep like a baby for the ride home...back to the Subsim ranch in Texas.

Neal is back ...In Black and Silver.

Yay! I'm back. Raiders won. Thanks for springing me, Niki. Those monks are a pretty monotonous bunch.

Now, after a little celebrating, I have to empty my PM box. After a week away, it's full!

I can't belive it, I actually scored tickets to this weekend's Bears-49ers game at Soldier Field- and not just any tickets- SKYBOX TICKETS!!!!

So if you see an idiot screaming out the box window at the field on TV this weekend-its probably me!
GO BEARS!!!!

Predictions!

Houston vs Tennesse - Count on the Texans getting this win. Eric Carr has been quietly blossuming into an NFL QB.

Denver vs Indy - the smart money is on the Broncos but I'm sticking with the other horses (Colts).

Cowboys vs Panthers - Parcells will wrench the Boys into the W column.

Bears vs 49ers - they shoud play this game on Halloween, it's gonna be a slaughter. Bears!

Raiders vs Steelers - the old arch enemies, both limping with losing records. The Raiders are on a winning streak (1!!) and the Steelers are reeling. Go Rai-dahs!

I just watched the Bears score 41 points- in one quarter!!!
What a game!
Unfortunately the Bears didn't score at all the second half, which disappointed me, I was looking for them to score 82 points after the first half performance!
The skybox at Soldier is great, it actually kind of hangs over the field so you are almost on top of the game. I'm not really a fan of the new stadium's design, but you do get a great view from the boxes!
In addition to the pantsing of the 49ers, the highlight of the game was a flyover by two F/A-18F's from VFA-32, very low, very fast, and very cool!

Very cool! But what's up with the orange jerseys?

My predictions:
Houston vs Tennesse - Houston stumbled but even so, the game was close
Denver vs Indy - Manning will not be denied.
Bears vs 49ers - Dah Bears!
Raiders vs Steelers - what a game! Came down to the wire.
Cowboys vs Panthers - Cowboys rally to win.

Four out of five! Top that, Takeda!

Those are their third or alternate jerseys, each team is allowed to have one (I think most of them do) and wear it once a year. I guess Halloween is as good a time as any to break out the pumpkins!
I'm a Bears fan, which means if it isn't traditional, I don't like it, (heck, the Bears regular jerseys have been essentially unchanged since the 50's!) but the orange is actually growing on me. But only for special occasions, don't push it Bears...
