Guns are amazing. The best thing ever though, is Deer Hunting.

I've been shooting my deer with a nice Browning 30-06, but I'm hoping to get a Savage Axis .223 for Christmas for deer. I think it takes more skill to kill a deer with a smaller caliber. 30-06 is too easy. They just immediately drop whether you go for a heart shot or neck shot. Ammo will be cheaper and it'll add to the collection and thrill of the hunt.

You ought to try a shotgun with slugs, that puts the trill in to the hunt anybody can take a deer at range with a 06, with a shotgun you got to get them to get close to you. I'd like to bow hunt, but never had time to take the course, speaking of bow hunting I might just go bow fishing today, I got a 3ft blacktip shark the last time I went out.

Apropå replica weapons that¨s found in all shapes, I remember a funny story that my nephew once told me.

He and some of his friends used to play war games in the Swedish forests in central Sweden. They are adults all together so that their play was very serious. Once they played Navy Seals against Spetznas.

They had spent a weekend in the woods and was now on their way home. It was Monday and one of his friends was going to the bank to withdraw some money.

He went into his bank with his weapon-a kind of machine gun, as an ordinary person can not distinguish from the real thing. bank staff became nervous and pressed the alarm button and soon stood several police cars right outside.

Was told that his friend did not think that it was he who was the bad guy. It was only when the police came rushing and asked him to drop his weapon and lie down, that he understood.

He was, after some time, set free again

His weapons were confiscated, however, and the case went to the city prosecutor

That's all I remember of the story and I do not know if he was accused of something.

I might try that sometime. I know in Illinois, you have to hunt with slugs. But I live in Missouri. I'd rather take a nice rifle though.

Brings out my inner sniper. Go and sit, camouflaged, for hours and make the shot. I go hardcore in November Rifle Season. Get up at 4am, sit til 6pm, as many days as I can.

I don't have a bow, but Missouri bow season just started.

I just came back from shooting skeet for the first time. I'm not real big into shotguns and bird hunting, but I like shooting skeet now.
