Well im Chris 30 years old and i currently live in Akrotiri in Cyprus.
With my wife of 4 years and my 3 year old daughter.

Have been a member here since the early SH3 days. SH3 was the first game that i ever tweaked with mods before then i was just a guy who played the game out of the box and that was that.
Boy has that changed.
Love music and sports in a big way.
Music wise i like The stone roses, Oasis, The strokes
Sports wise my 2 biggest loves are The New England Patriots and Manchester Utd.

This is me a year or so back.

I know it's from a few pages back, but I just had to comment. That is one gorgeous bit of modelling! Great job.

Been playing SH series since the begining, bought SH5 and like many have great expectations, added 4 mods already and now is to my liking, love the graphics and expect great things here. SH5 someday will be the benchmark. I live in Portsmouth England and am 42 yrs old.

Got it on my Birthday. Love it.

My name is Steve Neill. I've worked in special visual effects for years. I've done everything from Spock's ears to Ghost Busters. Models, creature effects and special make up effects.

I'm a avid RC Submarine modeler.

Visit my websites and Blog if you dare:

www.sneillfx.com

www.foofightersmovie.com

and

www.steveneill.wordpress.com

That will save me a lot of typing.

Back to trying to figure out the new interface!

Steve

Played all SH parts except SH IV, as I was not interested in the pacific theatre any more. By the way, I didn´t like these scripted campaigns in SH II, where I lost interest in this game in the very first mission... but didn´t care as it was a low budget edition...

One of my hobbies besides gaming is scale model building. I used to build plastic models like this (Tirpitz 1/400, Heller):

but now turned to papercard models like this (to a huge part self built) Minehunter Type 40 (1/250):

Besides this another hobby is drumming in a heavy metal band *g*

Much more important of course are my wife and daughter....

Right now I´m updating my Vista and video drivers to install SH V tomorrow...
This guy should do some skins for sh-5.

Default lost my cherry to III, tried to love IV

Having a love hate relationship with V at present, but mods are like beers, and she gets better looking the more I have! Struggling with the interface tho, couple of candy things too, heard it before but missing the shiny sun plus lack of uniform details, the usual but the rate guys are working it'll be a proper job by next weekend!!
Oh well early days!! does make you wander where GWX might have taken this incarnation ...

Default I Like It

Hello There! My name is James DeWoody! Received my copy yesterday afternoon and I like what I see!! I am mighty okay with Silent Hunter 5 and I think the game play has some really neat additions. All the negative hype is ungrounded and unfounded.
