Dose not matter though as you cant outrun a police raido or go fast enough to get out of the line of sight a chopper.
I didnt want to look it up cause I am lazy and theres always someone who knows better or more....

Actually I have had my radio "outrun"... alot of times. In fact with the NYPD's cowardly no pursuit rule, it always gets "outrun". Patrol supervisors call off the pursuit before you can mash the pedal. We even had one instance where the perp was firing at the pursuing unit and the patrol supervisor was still trying to shut it down.

As for choppers, you have to pull Aviation away from there spaghetti and clam sauce before they can even get authorized to take off.

I am definitely aware of the dangers of high speed driving.-----> You are only a half second away from being in a twisted ball of steel with your intestines hanging out of your mouth.

Personally 75 is my cruising speed although I have drifted to 85 on occassion. Just that one time the highway was empty and I wanted to see what that lil German car could do, so I stomped on it. I have had Crown Victorias and Chevy Caprices up to 120 but NYPD patrol cars are wrecks and they shake apart at high speeds. Needless to say my VW was much smoother.

Anyways Thanks for the answer... like I said someone always knows better or more...

That is in your sissy northern states down here in FL they are not that strict they arent that strict in most states really. They have such good raido down here in alot of the poorer counties they dont even have a chopper.

Thoughy really in most of the US there are not many places where you can really get up to a high speed anyway becasue of traffic and such. I live in a pretty rural area and there are only a few places I can think of I can aslo think of the wicked crashes NY is really lame if they call off a chase where the person has fired on cops.Funny thing is some guy came up with a chip that is only $20.00 that could be placed in every car that would allow an equiped L.E.V disable the car safely it basicly what those bait cars have.As for cop cars the ones that are used by most are not that fast topend wise. Now The ones that Highway Patrol/ State Police use those are much faster.

I know a city cop and he had just standard Police Interceptor(Crown Victoria) and he attempted to stop a stolen Honda Element (the top all wheel drive model) the guy ran got over the top speed of the city PI which was about 135mph so they asked an FHP to come in with thier version of the Police Interceptor the Honda could not pull away from that one with a top end around 160 MPH. the crazy thing is this means that the Elemant must have been able to go around 145 mph since he was able to pull away from a cop going 135 mph with ease. But it was not the FHP that made him stop it was the raido as there where some Deputies in thier cars waitng up the road and the guy got nailed.

I bet it was more than one time no man can resist trying to peg it you just need a very long very empty road. The time my friend did 145 in the Jetta we where on this very long road outside Hastings FL, the cops never hang on this road much and very low traffic we passed this guy in some POS Sunfire and we stayed at about 85 and this Sunfire trys to overtake and I tell my friend no way your going to allow this so he said nope and we took off we got up to 125 and Sunfire was beat so slow back down to 85 and he tries again. So this time we went all the way to 145(the car just wont allow more) and the guys lights faded into the horizon. You can also go to Germany the Autobhan. I was stationed at Ramstein and I once took the old 87 M3 I had and pushed her all the way to about 145mph(speedo was metric no mph) this was early in the AM and there was no one else on the raod to endanger but myself if I had made a mistake of course over in Germany they know how to drive unlike here in the states where most people will sit going 80mph with one hand on the wheel fully ready to control thier car staring at a dvd player and yaking on their cell phones with thier left foot proped up on the dash borad.

Plenty of Mad Max replicas in the States.

Get caught with one here in Oz, and it gets a defect notice.

Damn, I love the XB coupe.

Yep lovely looking machine though the body shape was based on the Mustang MachII and unfortuantley Sledghammer I don't own one though there are a few about. I used to have an 351 XA coupe but the bloody drum brakes on the rear wheels cought alight on one drive and I ened up having to scrap her. The XB had discs all round which worked much better.

That limo has one problem it has to be a bitch to get out off. Also who cares what the MPG is how the hell could you pull up to the pump?It must have the old flip up the plate gas filler neck that would really suck to try and fill at a normal gas station.Ha it would be like the dash 86s we had in the Air Force nothing to stop you from over filling them man i saw so many dofus airmen over fill those things.Nothing like seeing 5 gallons a second of JP-8 spray all over the place.
It does look like it could be in that stupid reality show with the redneck weddings theyd have to have it done in Real Tree though hook up a trailer and go on a hay ride then park in front of the 72 trailer home/meath lab and spend the night in the "suite".They could use the Prius as a step ladder.

Not mine, my dad's, but she's a beaut to drive. Gets an average of 45 mpg, and 39 when towing a caravan. Plenty of room too. Vauxhall Signum ftw

Won use of dad's car for 2 weeks!

While I drive a gas guzzling 2003 Toyota Sequoia, my dad drives a
2008 Porsche 911 GT2. I, as you can all imagine, am very envious. I asked for a 1970 Plymouth Hemi Cuda for my graduation and my 18th birthday present, they said no. I have to wait until I turn 18 in November to get it, yet I still gave up the grad present.

My dad is going on vacation to the Swiss Alps with some friends of his for the next 2 weeks. He said, to keep me at bay for wanting the Cuda early, I can USE his car while he is gone!!
2 FULL WEEKS!!! Then the convsation about the Cuda stops until November.

While I would love to post an actual picture, my camera is broken so I just have the Porsche picture.

We picked her up in Germany, and let her fly on the Autobahn!
Then and every time we drive together we listen to

Bubbles - bidibodi bidibu, only seems fit!

I always go for someone else's car. I can't tell you how nice it is to drive someone else's vehicle. No payments. insurance, gas. I just leave it a few thousand feet from where I'm going and pick up another one on the way out.

You all should try it! Its easy and inexpensive.
