Misters, patience!
Work yet a lot of, but... I already said that I will try to collect for you temporary test mod from this that is already ready. At present I am engaged in it. Today all VIIB series is ready (early-38 without deflector, early 39 with deflector, early pre-war, 1940 and 1942-43-analogue U-84). Now I finish latest touches. Also, VIIC-40-analogue U-96 and VIIC-40-standard are ready. But these 2 boats in test mod won't enter since their correction is required. For work I use all the free time, but, unfortunately, I have no 10 hands and free time at me a little. Literally in some days I will give the reference here. Instructions for use will be later. I want to warn in advance, it will be incomplete Trial version. Any skins yet will not. Only "dockyard-paint." I will be grateful to all if at detection of any mistakes, you will be inform me by means of screenshots. All the best, Alex Last edited by Wise; 02-03-15 at 02:06 PM. |

Hi Alex,
Thanks for releasing this. Unfortunately Mediafire is acting up - says it is downloading but sticks at 0%. I'll try again tomorrow. Regards, MLF

Hi Alex,
What a beautiful model! The detail is brilliant with excellent 3D relief of hatches, flood holes etc. Just great. Thank you. The pre-war tower is so real - I compared it to a photo of U45 and it's faultless to my eye. I'm not too sure I see a great deal of difference between the 1939 and 1940 towers in that I don't get the spray deflectors?? Also in your readme you state "For those who plays GWX, in order to avoid problems don't forget to connect a fix of AI boats." - I'm not sure what that means. I'm really looking forward to the VIIC - my favourite. Thank you for your hard work - this is really good stuff. Have you had a look at the bows on the Scharnhorst and Gneisenau....hint hint. One day maybe ????? Regards, MLF

I have now seen the 1939 and 1940 towers - excellent. I didn't extract the files correctly. All working now and very impressive. Thank you again.

@Anvar1061: I'm not sure you want to use the SH3C date function that way. AFAIK, when you reload a save after the date specified, the mod will be applied. For example, you begin a patrol on December 1, 1939. You save while in mid-patrol, on January 5, 1940. When you reload, you will see the 1940 version of the turm, not the 1939 version you left port with. A lot of work for your crew to perform at sea. It might be better to change out the turm mod while in port between patrols. It doesn't affect the game of course, just the aesthetics. @Wise: Purty little thang! Thank you for this excellent piece of work! Last edited by BigWalleye; 02-06-15 at 05:49 PM. |
