Great haircuts too.

Seems to be a popular genre for groups/bands :- the G.I.'s in Germany, then the British in the late '70s, and finally the Gregorian boys. The Gregorians.....I admire how they keep their straight faces, it's gotta take some doing.

When i had bought my first car in England (used Spitfire 1500) and was back in Germany we had a job in Stuttgart. So a friend and me started in Goettingen to drive south on a hot summer day.
There was one cassette on board, the Pointer Sister's "So excited" LP.
We must have heard this cassette for a hundred times that day, the car broke down uncountable times, on that tour.
We tried everything, disassembled the SU carburettors, set the timing, the car would run again for 15 minutes and then - stop.
It was not a major fault but it took a week to find out what had been wrong: steam bubbles in the fuel pipe due to the exceptional heat.
The english model did not have a heat shield between exhaust manifold and carburettors, only export models to continent and California had

Mounting this spare part effectively prevented the bubbles and i never had any problem again with this car.

So .. great tune and i remember it well. Every. f'n. (sorry) word.
