Come on Ubi don't do things half-ass like most developers.

Also holding back purchase until I can read messages about people having a good time playing a stable game.

So sick of corporate a-holes releasing crap products.

Default Bring Back Visual Crew Recognition

When I give my orders, I prefer my subordinate look at me and nod when I request his attention and also repeat (mouth) the order I give him - just like in SH3. Is that too much to ask since that visual was all ready incorporated into SH3? I assumed it would be part a SH4 patch. This is a completely "missing" feature of the new game when compared to SH3 and as such, there most definitly needs to be a 1.3 patch to include it and bring us back to reality.

Sincerely - Capt. Mantool

UPDATE: May 19: We've nearly reached 1000 submissions since this thread started May 16 (Weds). Already, Google has this thread listed as the #5 result when you query silent hunter 4 patch

Post this in any other forums you belong too. Be sure to vote in Ubi's poll. Are we serious? Yes, so let's make it happen.

thanks

Default Count me in for 1.3 or count me out for Ubisoft

I, too, would like a patch.

I do purchase games on their release dates and plan to get Team Fortess2 and Crysis when they are available. But, I can honestly say that I will not buy another Ubisoft product on or near its release date. I will instead wait until the suckers (which I currently consider myself to be) have posted their complaints and at least two patches have been released. I have learned my lesson with regard to Ubisoft.

Ubisoft has published some great games (FarCry, anyone?) but have also provided poor support to others (Splinter Cell: Double Agent - ported from Xbox360 and remains a buggy POS). I want to support good game developers that care about their product but, if they choose a lousy publisher I cannot continue to waste time and money on their efforts.

I don't know all of the isuues involved but, at the moment, I would like to see the SHIV team move to a different publisher and continue their efforts (under a new title, if need be).

Default Redjack

As only a matter of professionalism, the game should be made right by the designers. Afte all, this isn't Microsoft.

I have put off buying the game as I do not see how full manual targeting can be done with the unit of measurment bug and the detecting speed bug. SH3 I could play to completion with no problem. It is very disapointing the series has taken a step backward. If these two issues are fixed, I will purchase the game immediatly

I'm not buying the game until it is patched to fix these critical issues.

Cheers,

I can see this being a great game - it has a lot of potential and looks beautiful, but it is really annoying when things described in the manual just don't work.

Please give us 1.3 and further patches if necessary.
