The waiting is often the worst part, and the temptation to break cover and move, and THAT'S when the bastards always show up!
Good work Dowly, keeping on StuGging |

I kinda like the waiting, in some twisted way. I usually just pick a book and start reading.
Last night, I did two quite successfull ambushes. The first time I got truck, AT gun and a Crusader. The second time, driving happily along the road came Panhard, 57mm ATG and a M10 tank destroyer... then I ran like sissy from a Sherman.. had no AP rounds left. |

Tank camper? That's a new kind of camping you got there, Dowly.

Nice, so I take it you can turn your engine off and sit in the silence and wait until they come rumbling along?
Damn, if only I ever had some extra money. |

Might aswell say it here what I said to Potato in a PM. WWIIOL is the kind of game that you cant get into with the 14-day trial. There's just too much stuff to learn and see, which is pretty crappy. I'd advice to read the WWIIOL wiki through before even thinking of joining. http://wiki.wwiionline.com/index.php/Main_Page |

Not to take over the screenshot thread, but I would also recommend hooking up with a squad early on so they can help you learn how to survive. The game is not like other shooters. You may die many times before you even see the enemy. It takes some skill, and the "run around and shoot wildly" type of player doesn't live very long.
