Still being in despair when after a succesful patrol and a good few thousand tons sunk, sudden blackout in the entire surrounding and even UPS turned out to be broken...

Noticed my colony of tree bumblebees were no longer noticeable so considered taking down the bird nesting box but luckily I performed a Google search first.

Apparently the buggas are in hibernation about this time of year but there are drones inside which will defend the nest if disturbed.

Enjoying balmy summer weather. Yesterday it reached 102° F / 39° C, but the humidity at that point was only 8%, so it was actually not bad.
