Hey, I didn't weigh in yet! I have all kinds of important insights to..........oh, wait, that stuff is all on page one. Darn. It also seems pretty clear that this is a pointless political attack. Double darn.

What I will say is that I'm glad Obama is on vacation. When he's on vacation he isn't in Washington speaking to lawmakers or otherwise actively pursuing any kind of policy. I see that as a good thing. Heck, I wish he'd take the rest of the term off. He's done so much for the American people already. Isn't it time he took a little break? I mean, he's gotta be beat after this summer of amazing economic recovery. In fact, let's just give the executive and legislative branches of government a vacation for like, ten years. That ought to give the economy time to catch up with the ridiculous demands placed upon it. Money spent to pay Washington for doing absolutely nothing could well be the best investment we've ever made in government.

Now now, you know the best thing for the economy is less government intervention.

When he beats Bush's record then you can complain.

I don't mind people complaining that Obama is on vacation again, but unless those same people complained about Reagan's record as the greatest vacationer of them all, then it's nothing more than partisan politics, no matter how much they claim otherwise.

I might be going out on a limb here but I reckon that it is excatly that, partisan political hackery.

It's no different to the Michael Moore film imagery of President Bush speaking about 9/11 and the terrorists at a golf course before saying something to the effect, "now watch this drive". During the Bush Presidency there were so many jokes and jibes launched at President Bush and his many holidays. Same thing no but different side. Oh the hypocricy.

It doesn't matter. I'm more concerned with the one-sidedness that makes people point fingers at someone they don't like and ignore the exact same failings in their heroes.

It's not the leaders who worry me, it's the followers.

I follow no one. So I can't fit this category.

The followers scare me too. They put these fools in office. Republican or Democrat.
