Moin, Moin my fellows

We had planned to release the JoC-SH3-WW1-Project 1.2 in this week. Unfortunable our Crew-member KevinTheSlice, he was assigned to write the manuals, isnt still finish with his work. So i dislike to waste the time with nothing. So i create the next project to integrate in this competition.

The Submarine SM-U-511 "Deutschland-Class" former a mechant submarine in 1916. After the refit for the "Kaiserliche Marine (Navy)" he act his time as Sub-Cruiser.

@Iambecomelife: You have my permission to integrate the boat into your mod

WOW I love the sub!

Also I have never heard of merchant submarines, though I have heard some ancient russian subs got converted into oil carriers after ww2.

keep up the great work! once I get my SH3 running i will definitly give it a go!

Hi Jankowski,

Here some historical facts:

1916: The battle of Juetland between England and Germany was a draw!
But the Chef of the Fleet, Adm Scheer recognized, that Germany whould never have a surface-battle against the Britains again. The Royal Navy blocked the North-Sea to avoid, that food and raw-materials from the neutral USA arrive Germany.
The Chef of Krupp-Enterprises, Mr. von Bohlen and Halbach decide to build a merchant-submarine to fetch Material, like Bauxit, from USA for continuing production of nessesary war-materials. The blockade runner "Deutschland" was born and build.
1917: Adm. Scheer decide to unconditional submarine warfare against England. The USA declared Germany the war. the U-Deutschland was refit to the SM-U511.

after a long absence (reason: chancer) I return to my project to finish the JoC-SH3-WW1-Project 1.2. The only task I have is to write the Manual for the release. After a short recreation I will continue the next Projects of my scedule. At Moment, I wish you all merry chrismas and a happy new year.
