You've got me beat by eight months. However, there are members well into their seventies. But by "oldest" Neal meant the one who has been a member the longest.

I turned 65 last March ... but all I got was a phone call a week later from my son saying, "Hey dad when's your birthday"

I say give the award to Sailor Steve ... he's been the best overall poster and supporter of all that is decent and good order at subsim even though at least half of his post have been to correct others mis-spellings lol

But in my defense I did get here in 99 ... I just can't prove it

Yeah, the EZBoard message board is archived but not to the individual posts level. Still, one can go back to Oct 2000 and see who made posts, that certainly counts.

And to think, we had another forum before that one that dates back to 1997...
