Yeah, hunting boar is pretty fun..but it can be dangerous! I have only shot one boar in my whole hunting career..I only hunt white-tail deer, but when a bobcat, coyote, or boar comes in and gives me the chance to shoot..I don't hesitate to do so.
A buddy of mine hunts them in Arkansas with a friggin spear. He calls me a whimp because I am not doing that. Me and my 480 Ruger Super redhawk will do just fine together.

Here is me and my buck in '06. 8 point..203 pounds! For the half-rack, I donated him. I trust my 270.bolt-action custom rifle at ALL times.

Yeah.. I know...very hippy of me.

The funny thing is that I'm an ex-punk rocker from the 80's (I'm still into the punk stuff, but I no longer dress the part). Anyway, about 3/4 of the people I meet at drum circles are old punk rockers from the 70's and 80's. It seems that when punk rockers grow up, they join drum circles.

That is wild BL. When I was in New London in 78-82, there was a Punk Rock bar on Bank street. It was really a fun place. I forget the name of it. Saw the Joe Perry Project in Waterford. New England had a great Rock and roll vibe back then.
My friend ,Herb ,who was a nuke boy on a sub down there used to live in Willamantic right near there. They had a lot of nice little hole in the wall dives for those of us who enjoyed the punk music back then.

Had a few customers a couple of weeks ago that go on regular boar hunts. When we asked them what the gun of choice was, they all started laughing....

...."gun???? we dont use guns. We send in the dogs, the dogs lure them out, we jump on and stick 'em with our knives."

Mind you, these guys are about 7' tall and 5' wide.

Dogs are a great way to flush em or corner them. I prefer stalking, always did. I joked with a buddy once and told him that i was gonna soak him in sow estrus and use him for bait. he did not go for that one. I got hooked on handgun hunting when I saw a video of Bob Munden take out a grizzly with a 454 casull.

Depends on personal preferences. I like tall female performers as they are a rare breed in porn world.

Boar is just wild pork. In the south they would soak the meat in a citrus based marinade to break down the meat a bit. Once you Bar-B-Q it it is good. I agree not as good as venison backstrap.
