[REL] Silent Service Graphic Mod 1.2b (Updated!)

SILENT SERVICE GRAPHICS MOD 1.2b for SH4
Made By
CAPTAIN COX

NEW! Intro film
Due to Resolution and compression some people could not
play the original Intro film for the SSGM 1.2

I have used a different copression this time and all should be ok.

Credit to "l3th4l" for all the Adobe Premiere Tips and Trix +

Art Directing! And for testing!

Kudos to "Dustyboats" for testing!

Was a bit fed up with the old one so i did a new...plain and simple.

This Mod will replace all Films, Loading Screens, Mission Screens and more.

Trying to make the atmosphere as immersive as possible with historic material.

Same concept as 1.1 but with new Intro Film, New Main Load Screen,
15 New Level Load Screens (Main Battles of the Pacific) and New Menu Background Movie with New Slide show.

For those who never checked out 1.1
"New End Career Screens", "New Campaign Screens" etc.

Kudos to "l3th4l" for the hint about the res!

Install:
Simply use with JSGME
If you don't have it get it here:
http://www.users.on.net/~jscones/software/products.html

Tools used:
Adobe Photoshop CS3, Adobe Premiere Pro 2.0
RAD Video Tools, ACE-HIGH OGG Audio Converter
A lot of time, coffee and fags (that's cigarettes to you Americans)

NEW INTRO MOVIE

NEW MAIN LOAD SCREEN

NEW IN GAME BACKGROUND MOVIE WITH NEW SLIDE SHOW

15 NEW LOAD SCREEN'S (HISTORY OF THE MAIN BATTLES IN THE PACIFIC)

As this is extensively graphic material it is quite heavy,
149 MB to be precise, but its worth every byte...believe me

Final 1.2c and Standalone
"INTRO MOVIE" movie ONLY! replace the "Intro.wmv" in the Mod Folder:
SILENT SERVICE 1.2 GRAPHICS MOD\Data\Movies\Intro

Cheers guys!. I think the loading film sound volume is way to load!, be careful with your volume. That's another thing I will have to tweak in the morning...totally fed up with any Adobe applications at the mo :p
I actually start to SOB! when I watch that "Menu Film"...really! hu hu

I cant simply get enough of this! Makes the game feel soooo much cooler! You should add more loading screens with sub info! Where did you get some of the video clips from. I'm looking to make a film too, been dying to screw around with Movie editors and stuff. Cool stuff!

You guys are TO KIND! Thanks for all the kudos.

Regarding the film...it was a small clip i found in a documentary about subs. There is not much stuff about the PTO Sub war in film format out there. I have orderd ONE! good DVD though, its not here yet as its being shipped from the U.S.
Its called "Submarines: The Silent Service in World War II", the cool thing about this DVD is that it has a lot of clips in color.
http://www.amazon.com/Submarines-Sil.../dp/B000AB0Z2W

I think the clip I used might actually be coming from this documentary.

As for the load screens, there are 15 in the stock game and I did 15 so I guess to have more one would have to fiddle with a script somewhere, did not look yet...
