Back on (off) topic: Back when I was in boot camp we had to learn proper terminology; i.e. a rifle is not a gun, it's a rifle. Period. Likewise a pistol. Only a large-calibre cannon was to be called a gun.

Then we had to learn 'the saying': "This is my rifle, this is my gun; this is for shooting, this is for fun!"
