And I add that games of any genre should not get green light for release until properly tested.

I agree with Neal, This game needs another patch. At least make it perform the way manual states it should perform. From my point of view I paid $60 for a beta version and after 2 patches its just a better beta version. I'm somewhat new to gaming and this is the first game I've bought off UBI. I will think twice before I rush out and buying a new release from this company again.

This is my first Subsim and if it wasn't for this forum and the help of you guys, I would have put this game on the shelf. I wouldn't of had a clue on how to play it. That manual is all but useless, a lot of serious omissions(controlling the sonar! etc....).

So I hope UBI does the right thing and finishes their product.

While I am always amazed and impressed that the community of fans and modders can make so much from so little raw material, SH4 should have been so much more from the beginning! Ubi should have learned from the mistakes of SH3 (especially when so much of SH3 is still hiding under the skin of this sim).
Patch 1.3 is absolutely required to restore the faith of a beleaguered community.

I am quite disappointed that development team don't try to create with SH IV customers the confidence between Ubisoft and the players that exists for example with Il-2 ,which was also published by Ubisoft though .

I believe that such games (simulations) don't worth playing it until they are not FULLY fonctionnal.

So we really need a complete third patch which should fix every known bugs.

I appreciate Pablo's post -- I too have not purchased SH4 because of the user community comments (although I am dying to). Do the right thing Ubisoft -- bring SH4 back to the repair dock and fix it. Then I'll consider a purchase.

It is time to fix the bugs in SH4. I am tired of work arounds and have played it less frequently as a result. Any future purchases from UBI will be after at least a 3 month wait after the release to see what is said in forums. Had I done that with SH4 I would not have bought it. I do not recommend this product to friends in its current condition.

A very comprehensive Patch 1.3 is needed NOW.

I have been waiting for this 3rd patch before I buy SH4. I'm patient but Ubisoft is losing business. There are many like me who after years of gaming experience know better than to buy something until most of the problems have been corrected with patches. We need patch 1.3!
