You can expect a boat load of Bernie voters who will be very disappointed when FREE money and college is not paid for by the US government. Much like the nice lady who stated, "Obama is going to pay my mortgage". That never worked out for that nice lady. Sure, Bernie will start writing Executive Orders like mad man because he is a mad man. It will be met with much resistance. I do not expect Bernie to win the nomination anyway. He is not part of the democratic machine. He is Bernie the self prescribed socialist. But it is hard for Bernie to be "that guy" who understands the little man's problems and big government will take care of them when Bernie himself has helped his family to the financial windfall of being a career politician. Bernie will be squashed as it was done with the last DNC election.

Maybe, just maybe one day Bernie will comb his hair with a comb and not a balloon. The guy constantly looks like slept in his clothing and not showered after the all night banger he just woke from.

Bloomberg is the person to worry about. The man will BUY his way to the presidency. He is currently buying his way into the DNC and getting the nomination. He is a 78 year old man with 61 billion. Can't take it with you. Might as well buy the presidency before he goes.

Well I just did a search for a post I made many moons ago about how that Mayor gay guy Buttigieg was a sleeper for the democratic party nomination.

But I couldn't find it ... But I did find a bunch of dumb post that I have made.
I'm getting out of US Politics ... I'll just stick what I know ... Nothing

Now with 62% of the votes in Buttigieg (boy that's hard to spell) is the leader of the pack with 26.9% of the votes

Buttigieg = 26.9%
Sanders = 24.1%
Warren = 18.3%
Biden = 15.6%
Klobuchar = 12.6%

everyone else is 1% or less

Could this unexpected shake up be the real reason they are counting everything by hand?

I cant see him winning. Trumps tried and tested now, its been... er....interesting.... but he wasnt quite as dire as many expected, the econemy is still sticky taped together and nobodies nuked anyone yet at least. Trump basically talks trash - then negotiates. (bark is worse than his bite)
The woke left / never Trumpers/ wont dig Bloomberg. another 'rich old white man' etc. and hes too establishment for the Bernie crowd. I guess he could attract some moderates & fence sitters, but probably not enough of them.
All Trump has to really do is come out and say 'bla bla Jobs / nobody does jobs like me' and he gets a another 4 years probably.
Meanwhile the Dems are chewing off their own legs with fantasies of open borders and over estimating their share of the Latino /African American vote.

It seems that Acronym, with its bold-faced plans to spend big in an effort to take down Donald Trump, perfectly encapsulates how in 2020 this money-soaked Democratic political culture inevitably leads to one place: failure.

I hear you, but let me ask a question: Bloomberg is not actually buying the office, he is just spending tons of money advertising himself. It's actually up to us to tune him out, right? I mean, isn't he simply the click-bait version of a candidate? The average Joe is smart enough to make up his on mind, right? I hope so, or we've found another failing of democracy.

just watched the State of the Union. All I can say is that Nancy Pelosi is a crass woman. and Trump is going to come out swinging at his next rally after the impeachment vote tomorrow.

Well, gotta say, Trump should have shook her hand when she offered it.

Speech was good, though, and it appears he finally understands how valuable an appeal to black working class men will be for him.

While it was a good SotU speech, I think it doubled as the opening salvo in his re-election campaign. I watched the Democrat's side of the chamber during the speech, and didn't see any happy faces at all even though he touched on a couple of signature issues for them.

They should fit together nicely since Trump has been so full of respect for his opponents and never stoops to childish name calling or other such kindergarten behavior.
