Start a thread dedicated to such. I'll subscribe. But, for your own health, tone it down a notch and relax. Stress kills faster than Cheetos.

No stress here bro. I just thought if your mask mandate cult and my exercise cult got together we could force those irresponsible children who are so afraid to what best for them to be more caring and socially responsible.

Case in point: me. At one point in time I was a 5-mile/day runner who also lifted weights. When I stopped lifting I started gaining weight, so I cut back and continued to exercise. Then, I herniated two discs in my back. Good luck trying to exercise when even walking is difficult. Every time I over-exert my back, I am crippled for the next couple of weeks. Couple that with injuries in my youth that were treated with 800 mg Motrin and a dose of indifference), and my entire spine is going to fossilize due to arthritis. I'd love to be able to run again, but injury forced me to stop running, and my metabolism is such that I easily pack on weight (which was great when weightlifting). Once you gain weight because of inability to exercise, its exponentially difficult because being overweight makes exercise more difficult, and the more you exert during exercise, the more likely to tweak your back... Rinse and repeat. And, before the pandemic, I spent so much time traveling for work, that I had no real free time to devote to exercise. A typical travel week looked something like this: -Saturday - fly someplace far far away 10+ timezones away from home - Tokyo, Adelaide, etc. -Sunday - arrive, get to hotel 2 hrs later on average, shower, meet team for pre-meeting in hotel lounge, grab dinner, crash in room -Monday - wake up around 2am due to jet lag, enjoy free time since US still on Sunday. Hotel gym opens at 6 - maybe get 30 mins in before showering and grabbing breakfast. Meetings 8am-5pm. Get back to hotel at 6. Deal with flood of work back in the US that still needs to get done, grab dinner, crash exhausted around 9pm. -Tuesday - Thursday - same as Monday except working from 2am wakeup up to time to get dressed and grab breakfast because the US isn't on the weekend anymore - typical teleconference scheduled right in middle of available gym time in morning -Friday - Same as rest of week up to noon or so, then get to airport to fly home. Arrive home same day due to timezones difference get home around 8pm or so. Can't sleep due to jet lag. Finally fall asleep around 2am. -Sat/Sun - sleep in due to jet lag, then honey-do list and family time. As you can see - not the ideal lifestyle for someone who wants to lose weight and exercise - jet lag, exhaustion, eating out a lot, and dealing with customers who come from a drinking culture... Sure - I could get spinal fusion - with no guarantee of being fixed. I could get gastric bypass - and the attendant risks and the likely chances of keeping the weight off, but I like being able to drink a beer every now and then. Lockdowns and remote working allowed me to lose 20 lbs in 2020 - with literally no other action in my part. Walking our puppy is low-impact aerobic work that allowed me to lose another 10 pounds in 6 months with no other action on my part. Especially walking the dog - easily an hour each day. Then I injured my back again, so I had to have the kids walk her since I couldn't walk without a limp. That was 4-5 weeks ago and I'm just now getting back to walking without a limp and with minimal pain. My intent is to get down to my post-boot camp weight of 168 lbs. It'll take awhile In the meantime, I got vaccinated (Pfizer). I still got covid. If I was unvaxed, I'm certain I'd be in the hospital. |

The Masking of the Servant Class: Ugly COVID Images From the Met Gala Are Now Commonplace.
While AOC's revolutionary and subversive socialist gown generated buzz, the normalization of maskless elites attended to by faceless servants is grotesque. https://greenwald.substack.com/p/the...-servant-class Even with all of this deceit and manipulation, there is something uniquely disturbing — creepy even — about becoming accustomed to seeing political and cultural elites wallowing in luxury without masks, while those paid small wages to serve them in various ways are forced to keep cloth over their faces. It is a powerful symbol of the growing rot at the core of America's cultural and social balkanization: a maskless elite attended to by a permanently faceless servant class.

Is there anyone who has said things against the vaccine or Corona still alive.
It seems like it's a bad habit. Those who neglected Corona and/or the vaccine seems to die from this virus. Markus

Did you know in the U.S. over one thousand people die each day from heart disease? The same couch potatoes who as they sit on their large behind chewing on a cheeseburgers and gulping down a soda for breakfast said it wouldn’t happen to them. But that’s not a headline so it’s not important to anyone. So it’s jab after jab after jab of booster after booster of new and improved vaccines! 2,600 fully vaccinated people have died from COVID breakthrough cases which as the inventor of the mRNA vaccine above and other biologists said may get worse because of the unethical use of the vaccine by mandate nazis which could cause the evolutionary growth of a vaccine resistant virus. Good luck, Oh btw I only had one jab of Moderna and had Delta last month and I’m still alive. Nothing against vaccines just their unethical use and hearing politicians (instead of doctors) mandating their use

Again I wonder
Can you compare lifestyle diseases with pandemic like the Corona virus. The first can be avoided if you live healthy, well increase the chance to get an heart attack etc The others is can still be deadly even if your're living healthy or give a person longterm side effects from it. Markus

I can honestly say that I don't know of a single case where someone has been infected by someone else eating too many cheeseburgers and sitting on their couches too long. Something tells me that's a distinct difference from a contagious disease.
