I wouldn't have thought a lighter would have much of an offensive capability

Not one of the Lend-Lease four-stackers?
Not that it looks like one

Yes and well done but I still think the obvious questions have up to now not been asked.

No, 15" are a tad large for a destroyer and not an American vessel.

Well that is not as obvious as you want to make it. Large offensive capability could mean lots of guns etc., one massive gun, one large aircraft..... I'm still not certain if I'm supposed to be identifying the vessel that appears behind stuff in the foreground, or what the foreground is blah, blah, blah.

IT WOULD BE GOOD IF JIMBUNA WERE ONLINE TO MONITOR THIS THREAD HE'S PROBABLY CELEBRATING THE GLORIOUS FOURTH; OF COURSE, ANY ENGLISH SHIP WITH 15 INCH GUNS WOULD BE THE TERROR OF THE SEAS.... INTENDED SOLEY TO SEND THE EVIL WWI KREIGSMARINERS AND WWII NAZIS TO THE VERY DEPTHS OF EREBUS IMHO

BUT ONLY SUBSIMMERS WITH FALLENANGEL/666 AVATARS THINK LIKE THAT!

No doubt! It must be more fun than watching UK politics and losing football teams.

Identify the vessel, the foreground as you call it is actually part of the vessel.

Hint: Not British.

WELL THAT LETS ME OUT. I THOUGHT IT WAS EITHER OF THE TWO MONITOR CLASS BOATS: HMS EREBUS OR HMS TERROR OR EVEN THE PREVIOUS CLASS: MARSHAL SOULT WHICH SERVED IN BOTH WARS ALSO....
