Old JC duffed up PM May today at PMQ's. May failed to answer any of his questions and did her normal deflection stance. Many are saying PM May is the worst PM ever and Brexit will be her downfall. We shall see if Brexit will bring her down.

IMO JC is a nice guy but he is weak, naive and an ideologue, dismantling most of his arguments shouldn't be THAT difficult. |

Not disagreeing with the comments regarding May but I fear who might replace her.
As for Corbyn.....I can only repeat what I have previously stated....I cancelled a membership of just over 25 years as a Labour Party member the day after he became the leader and shall never forgive Margaret Beckett for what she more or less started. I doubt she'll ever forgive herself either ![]() |

So is there any other reason for you to be against Corbyn, than his former life and what he did in Ireland?
![]() I am not sure whether i understand that right, on one hand "one does not negotiate with terrorists". On the other hand it is obvious for the rest of the world, that what England did to Ireland (and other parts of the Commonwealth, and the colonies) was neither legal by international law, nor did it (mostly) end in a good relationship.

He is a far left socialist, anti-royalist, supporter of Hamas and Hezbollah and believe it or not during his years in politics he has voted with the Tories over forty times against the EU.
I could go on but where I see no good I think it best to say as least as possible but I come from a proud working class background, have worked since leaving school at the age of sixteen and have been fortunate enough to enjoy some lucrative salaries because of my engineering qualifications and during service to my country (some people would disagree with that part but a LEO IMHO certainly serves the community at the very least) and as such I have hard worked for investments and an inflation proof pension. Corbyn would say those are the meanderings of a Tory but how wrong he would be, David Miliband (former Labour Foreign Secretary) is a personal aquaintance of mine and we both share similar opinions. Current Labour policies under Corbyn lean very much toward those who........ Best if I stop there I think but I would certainly consider rejoining the party should someone sensible take the reigns of leadership. |

^ Thank you, now i think(!) i understand.
![]() So it has not so much to do with his 'the troubles' background, as with his recent or general attitude, and opinion? You do not get too much background here about him, maybe should start reading UK info about him to make up an own opinion ![]()

Yet they use the consistent excuse of, "oh it just wasn't done properly" They push for more censorship & language policing to 'protect peoples feelings' of course. They support Middle class post modern Identity politics garbage (intended to raise up the marginalized) but in fact does nothing but divide people in to resentful bitter groups (along racial, religious and gendered lines,) - Imo they just use those they deem as 'the marginalized' as leverage to gain power all under the guise of progressive middle class empathy. The far left drive to make society 'equal' inevitably ends up the same way - capital flight and the march towards mediocrity via dragging everyone down the lowest common denominator. Labour do not give a monkeys about the working classes they used to stand up for, they now seem to despise them for being lazy ignorant, uneducated, xenophobic slobs with 'white privilege' where applicable. The tories don't give a damn about the working class either, but Labour have fallen so far in to the swamp of Momentums Marxist activism, that many working class have switched to voting for the toffee nosed blues!, that really takes some doing! Do you need more or.....? Don't get me wrong I got nothing against having some socialist policies, and a dose of Labour might well be good for the NHS, schools and social housing. But I don't trust ideologues who pitch enforced equality of outcome and privilege/oppression theory - while opposing classic liberal principles and meritocracy (two things that actually made the UK a half decent place to live.) Labour are dead to me. Last edited by JU_88; 06-07-18 at 03:39 PM. |

A year on from the snap election and what have we got?
LibDems still lost in the woods, PM May weaker than ever and it shows, I picked up on some info her cabinet is so divided over Brexit she has broken the cabinet down even further on this one. Brexit could be her downfall. The cress of the wave old Jezzer has been riding on has gone and in most PMQ's he fails to deliver, granted the last one was a rare one. The Conservatives are deeply divided over Brexit and Labour has a number of its own problems going on. The cold fact is this...All three party's are unfit for government and should not be trusted. My advice is not to vote for any of them as it stands at the moment.

Love it or hate, either way, you live in a democratic society and the referendum decided the outcome.
If you're so disatisfied with your country and the leadership try moving somewhere else. How about North Korea? You'll be able to maintain your current taxless position but I'm not sure you'll have or be allowed anything worth taxing and I hear their leadership are turning over a new leaf. |
