Commons leader Andrea Leadsom has called for an inquiry into allegations of bullying in Parliament.

It is likely to consider whether all Commons staff should be covered by the independent grievance procedure, not just those working directly for MPs.

Chancellor Philip Hammond has unveiled upgraded projections for growth and predicted falling inflation and borrowing in his Spring Statement.

He claimed the UK economy had reached a turning point and there was "light at the end of the tunnel".

Alex Salmond has launched a staunch defence of his weekly show on Russian broadcaster RT as he warned regulator Ofcom against closing the channel down.

Opponents have accused the former Scottish first minister of being a "useful idiot for the Kremlin".

Britain also is one of the two only nuclear military powers in the EU capable to provide deterrance (assuming that Corbyn's idea of SLBMs without warheads does not become a reality).

In the letter informing Brussels of the U.K.’s decision, Britain’s Lieutenant General George Norton said the decision to withdraw from the program was because of the logistical problems caused by Brexit, and insisted Britain could still remain part of the program further down the line if a political agreement could be struck.

Makes complete sense to me and the UK remains fully committed to NATO.

More than one million NHS staff, including nurses, porters and paramedics, can expect pay increases of at least 6.5% over three years - with some rises being as high as 29%.

The deal has been formally agreed by unions and ministers on Wednesday and could cost as much as £4bn.

Pay rises will be backdated to April this year, if staff agree to the deal.

The deal is tiered - with the lowest paid workers in each job receiving the biggest rises.

This is long overdue but desperately needed for so many dedicated workers on low incomes.

Hopefully this will mean many job vacancies will end and in so doing make a step toward getting the NHS into functioning as it should, for the good of the people.

Owen Smith says he "stood by his principles" in calling for another EU referendum - a move which resulted in his sacking from Labour's shadow cabinet.

The former shadow Northern Ireland secretary said Jeremy Corbyn had made a "mistake" in firing him.

He also said the party should "shift its position" on Brexit.

Mr Smith was asked to stand down on Friday after he wrote an article for the Guardian calling for a second vote.

Labour MPs are pressing Jeremy Corbyn for more action to "root out" anti-Semitism in the party after he issued a new apology to Jewish groups.

Some of Mr Corbyn's MPs joined a protest against his stance on anti-Jewish prejudice outside Parliament.

Frontbencher Rebecca Long-Bailey said it was "devastating" to "realise that the Jewish community had lost faith in our approach to anti-Semitism".

But she said the party took a "zero-tolerance" approach to the issue.

Here is a man who knows Hizbollah commits terrorist atrocities against Jews, but calls them his friends and attends pro-Hizbollah rallies in London. Exactly the same goes for Hamas. Raed Salah says Jews kill Christian children to drink their blood. He opposes his extradition and invites him for tea at the House of Commons. These are not the only cases. He is repeatedly found alongside people with blatantly anti-Semitic views, but claims never to hear or read them.

I'm wondering if Corbyn has suddenly found himself stuck between a rock and a hard place

Theresa May has said that Brexit means there will be more money available to spend on the NHS and schools.

Meanwhile ex-Prime Minister Tony Blair said Brexit could still be stopped, saying it was "not too late".
