Ok I know people often over-glorify their pets, but:

In our case i had a harmless kind of k.o. due to hunger (nothing eaten for 14 hours), sitting and a weak stomach - rapid standing up while feeling hot in the head and a vague hunger can sometimes result in sudden unconsciousness (no joke).

Anyway when i awoke our neighbour was beside me and said our cat had given him hell trying to catch his attention for 5 minutes, and then guided him to our door, while meowing all the time. So lock broken, and nothing serious, but could have been.

What is really interesting to note about that clip is the actions of the cat: it attacks the dog, stops to turn around and check on the boy, sees the mother is coming to his aid, then then cat, seeing all is in good hands, runs off in pursuit of the dog again. The cat seemed to have more than just scaring off the dog: the cat wanted revenge...
