Nice 3-1 win to the 'ammers. CP looked rudderless by all accounts. Not having a manager probably helped matters though.

Louis Van Gaal has said he doesn't care where Danny Welbeck plays, as long as it's not for a top 6 side.

Looks like he's staying at Manchester United then.

I remember listening to the scores read by him every Sunday night.

I found wifey making a footbally-type card for a friend's son this afternoon. Ever keen to seem interested, and it was a 3-D pop-up type card with goalposts and players and everything, I asked whether she was going to use a ping-pong ball or somesuch for the ball.

She gave me that look and said "It's got to go in an envelope"

Not at work today so looking forward to the Man City v Liverpool match on tv tonight.

Don't want either team to win so hopefully it will end in a draw.
