According to some Danish newspaper King Charles III did not make a good gestus.

There's a video clip which have made many people..not angry mostly disappointed I must say.

In the video clip you can see how King Charles III is moving his right hand and make a face to one of his helper(not the correct word)

May he be loved by the British people.

Just after 4pm (UK time) and the BBC commentary team following the Queen's funerary cortege have only just twigged that it won't be reaching Edinburgh any time soon (it's now just south of Perth).

It takes roughly 4 hours by road at approx 60 mph to get to Edinburgh from Aberdeen. The cortege isn't travelling at 60. Assuming they'd only take 6 hrs to get to Edinburgh from Balmoral was a bit naive.

The Queen’s coffin has arrived in Edinburgh, where thousands of people are waiting at the city's Royal Mile.

The funeral cortege has been making a six-hour journey from Balmoral Castle, with the Palace of Holyroodhouse the final destination.

Silent onlookers threw floral tributes in the path of the coffin along the route.

The coffin will be flown to London on Tuesday, and the Queen will lie in state at Westminster Hall from Wednesday.

The Queen’s funeral will be held in Westminster Abbey on Monday 19 September - it will be a bank holiday.

I wonder if he scribbelled "Chas. Rex"? It doesn't look like he scribed a "III"...

Ultimately it took nearly 7 hours to travel from Balmoral to Holyrood Palace. Evidently they put the pedal down once they got past Perth.

Better crowd turn out than I was expecting, which is good. Unfortunately the drone couldn't follow the cortege through Aberdeen because it would have crossed the flightpath for Dyce Airport. If anyone was wondering why the drone stopped and drifted north, that's the reason.

I've already seen people on Twitter complaining about a lack of Union flags being waved by the crowd. Apart from a hardcore, most people up here feel no need to wave a bit of bunting around just to show their patriotism.

(An off topic comment but still within the Royalist)

In a Danish article it was said that the British people didn't knew who our Danish Queen was-The reporter showed them a picture to the people on the street In London.

The Reporter said to them that she is now the longest sitting Queen still alive-50 Years on the throne and fully fresh with some back problems.

The Article also told me that some Queens are more known than others..
Back to discussing the New King Charles III

(End of and off topic comment...)

Well I've got to say after going through some of the news coverage that Scotland, a country many would argue have a growing number of people routing for independence, they are certainly doing Her Majesty proud.

The Queen's coffin has been taken from the Palace of Holyroodhouse to St Giles' Cathedral where a service is being held.

King Charles III, along with his brothers and sister, led the procession along the Royal Mile in Edinburgh.

A service of remembrance is being held before mourners are allowed to go in to pay their respects.

Earlier, King Charles made his first address as monarch to MPs and peers in Parliament and promised "selfless duty"

A national minute's silence will be held on Sunday at 8pm - the night before the Queen's funeral in Westminster Abbey.

Well natch'; she was wearin' a kilt for her last official act Mon! I'm watching the service on CNN at St Giles as I post. Westminister Cathedral will be stepping up to the mark!

Good the other spectators toke care of him.

This is not the time to criticize anyone from the Royal family

Quote:
A single protestor hurls abuse at the procession.

He is quickly dealt with.

The crowds drown out his shouting with chants of ‘God Save The King’

Edit
Looks like he has been charged

Quote:
The man was pulled out of the queue by two bystanders and was later arrested and charged.

I wasn't far off the mark: apparently his royal cypher is C III R and he's already wearing it on his tie: For my money, he(Charles Philip Arthur George) should have gone with his second name...better to be a Philip I... than a # III anything and he looks damn good with a 1: as with the other long term Prince of Wales, Victoria's son, Albert Edward , who surprsingly became quite a competent King Edward VII for 9 years, I've no doubt Charles will do as well or better...till he turns 80 in five short years; and abdicates per mom's instructions.... https://www.englishmonarchs.co.uk/saxe_coburg_gotha.htm

Now I may step on someones toe.

It's not what title a king may have, it's how he is towards the ordinary citizens
