Yes it is still alive, however it has slowed to a crawl, thanks to real life. I would love to see your documents.

Can somebody tell me what is diving time for British ww2 subs?
I found that class S diving time was, 70 seconds from full surfaced to periscope depth...

Does somebody know for other classes?

Hello,

From the book :Osprey New Vanguard 129 British Submarines 1939-45. -Innes McCartney.

S-Class from Fully buoyant to submerged 95 seconds.
This could be trimmed to 50 seconds if the boat was at low buoyancy.

I could not find any information on the T or U Class.

Good luck with this.
I was hoping someone would develop an Italian Submarine career for the Mediterranean.

Yes, from same source I also found just for S Class. I just made mistake it's correct 95 seconds, not 70...

Anywhere on the internet I can not find this information! This is very important thinks...

Probably British subs take a long time to submerge so they hide this data!

Seeing as we are now starting a bank of information, would anyone be able to put up blueprints of the L, Odin, Parthian, Rainbow, S, River, Grampus, U, and V class submarines? Preferably some of the earlier ones first.

Keep in mind that if it does say that's the time to get to periscope depth then that's a normal dive, not a crash dive. Crash dive time is probably about half that, or 50 seconds or so.

Sounds like bragging to me. Every procedural I've ever read requires that flooding doesn't start until the board (the "Christmas Tree" to us Yanks) is all green; that is, the vents aren't opened until all hatches and engine intake vents are closed. Do it the way he says and you risk diving a lot faster and farther than anticipated...
