Guys, what were you thinking? You did a really good job with the hookers, hashish and tulips and genevar, but you totally failed at breakfast lol... I was hungry all day and didn't get a decent fried breakfast until I returned to the shores of blighty later that week.

One thing you'll never be able to boast is having tender meat, even my Kaas Kop friends would readily admit to their meat being as hard as the hobs of hell.

We would regularly pay the cross channel lorry drivers to bring us some decent meat for a Sunday roast

Either that or he's down at the docks waiting for one of those cross channel lorry drivers.

Better choose his opening words carefully....them brutes won't take too kindly to him if they initially perceive him to be offering them his 'services'

How can a man at the docks possibly be percieved wrongly when asking a trucker to give him some meat?

Order! Order! if you please, I fear this trucker you mention has swayed way off the (British) highway, possibly with a truck load of (topic) bars.

Well it's not my fault that ye British and Irish woosies can't deal with a little bit of hunger. A light breakfast keeps ye strong

Which is yet another reason for the superiority of Dutch food, we've got the best fastfood in the world.

The reason that the British and Irish breakfast is so huge, is that you won't find anything edible during the rest of the day
When I was in England for 3 weeks I would have starved if there hadn't been the nice Fish & Chips vendors and McDonald's... (and a great variety of crisps (US:chips))

I love a Full English, and hate it when it's listed as Full but half of it is missing - one sausage or one slice of bacon does not a Full English make! The only time I get one now is on a Thursday morning during school holidays, I treat the wife at this lovely cafe we know. Although she's now gone veggie! More sausage and bacon for moi

A-hem you are clearly mistaken, there are many establishments throughout the locus of Britain where foods may be purchased, given the fiscal funds meet the correct said amount, consequently time is of no relevance, and most establishments display opening/closure time scales.
