They are bright and brilliant people I must say and it was no wonder that they were one of the superpowers. The thing is many don't have a decent command of English which naturally put them off from taking a more active role in English speaking community/forums for fear of being ridiculed perhaps so I guess most stick with Russian language forums. Added to the fact that their primary rival was considered the English speaking community then. But most seem to forget that their grasp of English is waaaay better than most non Russian grasp of Russian cyrillic.

It's no wonder too that Israeli got a big boost of precious intelligent and expert human resources when large number of Jewish Russians ,made the aliyah post the Soviet fall.

I always wondered how USA is able to maintain super power status . . .

I mean they(you guys) have brilliant people like Stephen Hawking then . . . a genius fellow named Stephen Hawking and umm the famously brilliant Stephen Hawking and let's see have I mentioned Stephen Hawking yet?

God must have love USA . . .at least until today. . Yay!

USA would be a great nation if it weren't for Utah.

Hostile Waters by HBO
Not too shabby for a made for TV job, good acting and sets although some of the plot is a bit off the mark, the collision between K-219 and the 688 boat for one thing, but otherwise, it's quite good.
