Imo the Collectors case should be in the shape of a Toilet.

Soooo, if this box is made of iron...and iron rusts...is that part of the "realism" of the game? Your game boat can't rust but your collectors edition box can?

I really don't see the point in all you people complaining. The content, while not mind bobbling, is pretty basic for a collectors edition: steelbook, soundtrack and exclusive DLC (skins in this case).

You obviously do not know that most collectors editions are pretty basic with their content, and that content goes along the basic lines. You seem to think that it is universal for collectors editions to be humongous with soundtracks, figurines/models, art books, making of DVD etc - and that is not the case.

Collectors editions are mainly for people who own versions different from the regular ones - i.e. collectors.

That you people are pissed off about the DRM or something else has nothing to do with the collectors edition, which is basic with its content. I don't think Ubisoft ever promised something like; "We are going to release this massive collectors edition with Type VII model, art book, making of DVD, compass and so on" - would have been cool, but I don't complain because nothing mind bobbling was promised.

Who the heck buys these so called collectors edition then? If the content is the same, just an iron box, wow, what a big deal.. It's so easy to fool kids today.
How hard is it to come up with stuff that would interest a real subsimmer? A real collector of this genre. For example an authentic stopwatch, or a real kriegsmarine map or something, anything historical...
There are publishers that do exactly that, sell interesting collectors packs.

But no, UBI has ZERO CREATIVITY.
