Not dissing you but I see your looking at a sterile survival situation.
I look at Captain James Riley and his Crew as to survival.

11 passengers and 10 crew members on Grand Princess cruise ship are symptomatic.
Quote:
There are 11 passengers and 10 crew members on the Grand Princess cruise ship that are “symptomatic,” Gov. Gavin Newsom said in a press conference today.

The ship, which is currently off the coast, is holding hundreds of passengers, Newsom said.

The ship, which departed from San Francisco to Mexico from February 10-21, returned to San Francisco and left for Hawaii on February 21.

Over 50% of the 2,500 passengers from the cruise to Mexico are Californians, Newsom said. Some of these passengers stayed and went on the second cruise to Hawaii on the same ship.

An American passenger who was previously on the ship was infected and died later after departing. Looks like they have another Diamond Princess situation on their hands.

meh, that's nothing. So far over 10,288,000 people have already died since the beginning of this year. Just today, we're up to 137,000 and counting...

This could be the end of cruise ships in the areas that these things keep happening until there is a remedy.

21 people now will become 42 people in a couple of days and then 400 people before they can figure out what to do.

No one will let them into port that's for sure ... Give them wisdom Lord

That's likely the ship that the Sonoma DHS document I posted was referring to. And a private school in Healdsburg has also cancelled classes which I believe is related to this also. It is to be noted that this is one of the schools that has students whose parents refuse to get their children vaccinated.

UK health officials have moved into the second phase of their response to the coronavirus outbreak.

In the "delay" phase measures will be ramped up to slow the spread of the virus, the country's chief medical adviser Prof Chris Whitty said.

He told MPs it was "highly likely" some people now being infected in the UK have no connection to overseas cases.

Three new cases of the virus in Scotland have brought the total number of positive tests in the UK to 90.

Speaking to MPs on the health and social care committee, Prof Whitty said the country was now "mainly" in the delay phase of the government's four-part plan to tackle the virus, but was still following aspects of the first phase.

It is still being decided what measures will be taken in the delay phase - but the government has said they could include banning big events, closing schools, encouraging people to work from home and dissuading the use of public transport.

Sadly inevitable and certainly foreseeable.

Wuhan hospital reportedly warns of increasing relapses in discharged coronavirus patients.
Quote:
Jiang’an hospital in Wuhan, the city at the epicenter of the coronavirus’ spread, warned Wednesday of increased cases in which discharged patients were subsequently re-diagnosed with the disease, according to a report in The Paper, a state-funded online news platform.
https://www.cnbc.com/2020/03/05/coro...rea-cases.html

Whether these increasing numbers are relapses or reinfections, this is NOT a good sign. This virus could turn out to be much worse than previously thought. I pray this isn't true. But if it is, we could be in very serious trouble, because I've read that relapse/reinfection can be much deadlier for the patient- greatly increasing the chance of heart failure and other complications the second time around. I'm guessing that's why that whistle-blower Chinese doctor and other young medical workers in their 20s and 30s have died.

Germany confirms 109 new cases within 24 hours.

Germany has recorded 109 new coronavirus patients within 24 hours, according to the German centre for disease control.

There are now 349 cases in the country.

Stay safe, Skybird. I think the virus is about to hit Germany hard like it is in Italy and South Korea.

Thanks, but I think the virus is going to strike hard EVERYWHERE. Its only a question of time and what place goes earlier and what place goes later.

A German media today quoted somebody (forgot who it was) who said that while vaccines will take their time until next year, medical drugs that could be used to battle symptoms and easing them will be available much earlier and maybe as early as this summer.

Currently its all about delaying, and winning time.

Everything looks fine and affordable in the epidemic management.
