That's okay - you seem to be a chap who knows what he's doing, Pisces (unlike me ). I only run a little higher at 1152x864. Don't see the point in squinting for a bit extra screen space!

You have a good point, OLC - I wouldn't have dared ventured such a suggestion though! I thought it was rather complete before, but now it looks like it is reaching a definitive version indeed. Given the victim you have become of your own success, a few small final variations would probably be appreciated by many. However, even if you don't make them, I expect other members might release their own variations if several people want the same changes, so the choice is obviously yours.
Either way a lot of people are going to be (and already are) happy

When uninstalling OLC GUI, I notice that my recognition manual still has "x2" on the recognition guide which obscures the height mast numbers. Anyway to fix that?

You either did something wrong or you have an old version of JSGME.

Thanks turm.

Small update for those interested: I decided not to modularise anything. People can and do release tweaks for this mod, so I'll leave such changes in their capable hands.

Cool, I didn't notice before you could show the reason of editing/deleting.

Only minor, it would not stop me from getting the new version.
After more play testing, I concede the point. I've found a nice half-way point. The green lines and bearing marks will be darker but not as dark as in that screeny I posted. New screens to follow.

Handy, innt? Don't think I've used it before but will do from now on

I just finished a modest 25k GRT patrol using GWX2 + OLC (modified only by using a self-made inner disc on the compass to show bearings instead of a 10/10 scale and installing Captain America's Officer Icons) and again have to say a big "Thank You!" for these tools.
If it weren't for that respawned 10kt Cargo ship I wasted all but my last 2 eels on, I would have caused a lot more trouble in British waters with the attack disc and the wonderful circular slide rule in the attack periscope. Calculating speeds, range and AOB really work at a snap of your fingers once you get the grip on the how-to-do-it-without-nervously-moving-your-cursor-around-while-thinking-of-the-next-step...

Thank you again for enhancing SH3 and even GWX2 that much!

I probably don't say this as often as I should, but joegrundman and Hitman deserve almost all of the credit for the U-Jagd tools (see U-Jagd thread).

Not that I don't appreciate your comment but the U-Jagd tools were their idea and almost entirely their creation

What's that, exactly? :hmm:

Probably that your mod doesn't show marks on every 1 degree in the scope bearing ribbon. (HINT!!! ) Though he must mean 5/10 rather than 10/10, because the 5 degree marks are there!

Default Another small update on 1.2

This version is turning into a lot of work

Nearly there, though. It can be considered the first true Dark version, as everything has been darkened now, which makes it much easier on the eye (no sudden changes in contrast from one screen to another... unless you look at the sun... but then, that's realistic! )

Anyway the main reason for this post is to say that I think I found the cause of the TDC going "out of sync" with the TDC dials panel.

Someone else already pointed out that this can happen if someone uses the WE 3D view to toggle the TDC switch, but it seemed to me that if people were doing that then they'd realise what they'd done.

But there's another way to get the bug: click on the TDC auto update switch with the torpedo loading screen open. Or with the deck gun ammo screen open. A fix for this is coming in 1.2. With a little luck, that might stop or at least reduce how often people experience this bug.

:hmm: Probably it's not the way I got the issue, as on the patrol it happened I hadn't fired any torpedo nor shell AFAIR, so there was no reason to use 'I' screen. So probably it's not the only way the TDC could get unsynchronized.
