Correct - prize goes to Vinny. If you google, there's a highly entertaining video on there called "Hunt for the Aerotrain"

If I'd led with the cockpit photo I could've probably kept this going since everyone would've assumed it to be a plane, but I'll probably only be here in fits & starts until the weekend

Catfish entranced me to victory! I seem to recall the puzzle-vehicle's overhead monorail being used in this game previously. I'll post something shortly...when I come out of my trance...

An unusual variant of a Dutch Fokker G.I? Observation aircraft, maybe?

Indeed!...the belly 'bathtub' could be removed to allow a bombbay. The Fokker GI was a formidable ground support twin-tail 'forked-tailed devil'. (Before the US P-38 Lightning.?!)The production was taken over by the invading Germans who used them as training aircraft. One escaped to England in 1940, during the Nazi invasion of Holland, where its wooden wings were scrutinized by British airplane manufacturers. A replica exists in a Dutch air museum. Over to Ostfriese

That bathtub kept me off the track for quite a while.

Anyway, what's this?
