I have PS, Irfanview, Gimp, PaintShop Pro 12, SaintPaint, Snagit 8 and a few others. Most of them will convert the picture like so quite easily. I'd suggest you start off with one of the freeware programmes like Irfanview and practice with that ![]() @coronas Yep, now I remember...cheers ![]() |

A recently discovered color photograph believed to be taken by Pilot Officer Colin Aldred during one of his coastal defense sorties. The U-boot (short from 'Unterseeboot') is identified as an type IX long range german Uboot. Considering the pilot has had the time to take the photo, it is very likely that the german Uboot has been damaged and is sinking or in process to be abandoned.

@Coronas: Whoa! That's great shot! I've tried for years to make a sort of an photo taken through the guncamera mounted to an aircraft strafing a Uboat. But I never got the bullet splashes to look real enough to my tastes.
