First post ever on this forum. Been reading it for quite some time though.
Haven't purchased the game, because people said it was filled with bugs.
Ubisoft: patch this game adequately and I'm buying it...

And hello to the subsim-world.

Once again they release a half finished product and wander off and start on the next fiasco. FIX IT!

I agree! This game is 80% there. But certain fundamentals need fixed before the modders can take it and make it a truly great game - a la GWX.

Ubisoft - you have a remarkable resource here - a bunch of borderline nutters who will devote hundreds of man-hours to modding, providing huge replay potential and spreading the word for future SH incarnations.

Please please leave us with a game in a state that can support this!

There a so many annoying bugs left, that the sim feels more like a chore sometimes getting everything right. And even as a European I'd like to be able to play the game using imperial measurements rather than metric. That one is a real enjoyment killer.

Please keep supporting this sim Ubi.

Bought this game on Pre-order as I was REALLY looking forward to it!
First install...BIG disappointment...too many bugs!
Two Patches later......getting there, but still a LOT to fix!!

Come on please Ubi.......you have some VERY frustrated Kaleunen eager to sail!!

"What do we want?"........PATCH THREE
"When do we want it?"......NOW!

Thank you in anticipation of a speedy response! (..or not!)

I have held this game in my hands several times, but always put it back on the shelf, remembering what I read here at SUBSIM. Even though it is coming down in price fast.

Patch the game UBI and I, and probably many more, will buy it. Otherwise it will continue to collect dust on the shelfs.

I'm mostly a lurker here but I had to post to give my vote that a 3rd patch is needed for "Silent Hunter 4".

I'm considering to stop purchasing PC games altogether because of those morons that think it's a good idea to release a beta version of a game to the public.

I'm tired of publishers that release half finished games.

I totally agree. I personally know three people who would love to buy the game but stay away until it works as it should. This game needs at least one additional patch.
