Say What..
I think the SNP will loose around 5 to 10 seats so the question is will it be Lab or Con that pick up the most?

Never underestimate the SNP's collective mindset.
If they do loose any, the Tories may be the ones that benefit, possibly the Lib Dems or Scot Greens as well. If SLab get any I'll be surprised - they're in even worse shape than the UK party as a whole. Siding with the Tories for the 2014 "Better Together" IndyRef1 campaign effectively destroyed their vote base. When their then Leader, Johann Lamont, threw a hissy fit about not being allowed by the Scottish London Labour hierarchy to campaign as she saw fit in that campaign, coming out with the infamous "branch office" quote, SLab's support collapsed entirely and the SNP cleaned up. I haven't met anyone who really takes Kezia Dugdale's SLab or Corbyn's UKLab that seriously. Scotland is a straight SNP vs Tories fight - Nationalist vs Unionist. Left vs Right doesn't mean much up here these days. Mike.

Somebody's had their thinking cap on:
https://www.prospectmagazine.co.uk/m...otic-neighbour Interesting article, though it does come across as a bit patronising towards England. The general thrust of the article is something that's quite common within the ScotNat mindset. Mike.

OK today's PMQ's scorecard..
May 1 Corbyn 1 Well it was robust and lots of near misses but I feel today was a draw. General election debate Well old JC's attack on the LibDems made me laugh when he said they voted in three different directions on the Brexit bill. As for that strutting peacock wee little Tim if he thinks his party is going to replace Labour as the main opposition all I can say is this..I want that man tested for drugs and under go a mental health examination.

However, one Labour MP has told Mr Corbyn there is still time for him to stand down as leader before the vote. That even more so

SNP block abstains..... Interesting to see that the two former SNP MP's currently under criminal investigation both voted against. McGarry and Thomson must like their gravy train. BBC Scotland analysis of Scottish electoral battlegrounds. An interesting mix. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotlan...itics-39639554 It will also be interesting to see if voter fatigue has set in - we've had something political going on every year since 2014 up here. Mike.
