The mossies had just started hatching out and the hard freeze last night will have killed them off. This is a good thing. I hope it killed the black flies, too.

I am allergic to blackfly bites and swell up around the bite site big time. They also make me dopier than I already am. I try my best to avoid them.

Winter is over, officially.

The trees are in full bud and the grass already needs cutting.

Next winter will likely be nastier than this one.

Officially winter might be over, but we had snow last night. It didn't stay around long and it was only about 1/2", but it was snow just the same.
