(Sorry to break the string of pretty graphics pictures)
July, 1847 - After 8 years and 3 wars of unification, the armies of democratic Prussia manage to topple the old monarchies. The people of Germany agree to unify under a parliamentary democracy led by the former Prussian state. The new German nation is enormous, including much of the former Austrian Empire (Not including Hungary, which is my satellite, and a few nations in the Balkans which declare independence) The French, still mobilized from their disastrous war with Prussia which ended 3 months earlier decide to immediately declare war rather than let Germany gain strength.

Graphics smaphics, they just cost you an arm and a leg.
Your shots look far more interesting. "This game makes you feel like a spectacular badass." Sometimes I do make a terrible mess...

Pfft. I have 1705 screencaps from AC alone, totalling 5.85GB.

I use Fraps to take a cap every second automatically. I switch it on during fights... and sometimes forget to turn it off. Racks up quickly that way.

Perhaps a micro-stutter each time it caps. Probably comes down to the speed of the HD it's capturing to... maybe bit of CPU speed too.

Il2? God, I wish I had a decent joystick. I have no decent rudder-controls what so ever. Pain dogfighting without it.

I don't use Fraps to take screenshots.
I use this little application http://www.megaupload.com/?d=2TMDZOAN Ultima Online Screenshot Utility you just run it, the default key is Print Screen and you can select to save it into JPEG at 100% quality. select folder you want to safe it in minimalisize the program, run the game and you hear a small bleep that confirms you've just taken a screenshot as far I've used it I haven't noticed a stutter when saving a screenshot. Cheers mate, thanks for that.
I'll give it a go next time I can pull myself away from SUBSIM for a few minutes.

Heh, almost, it's Victoria (with the Revolutions expansion and the VIP mod), which after figuring out the extremely complicated economic and political systems is easily Paradox's best grand strategy game
