*Oberon looks a little white.*

"And if what they say is true, removing the bullet will bring the monster back to life?!"


"Organize a search party for Lesrae's body, dip your bullets into the holy water, shoot Lesrae upon sight."

"Oberon, use that fancy weapon you have there."

"A Very Super Market, stick with Oberon, report to me in an hour after searching to begin today's lynching ceremony. Remember our discussion," (err check your PM's )

This is not looking good, Chad thinks to himself.. Returning upstairs, he grabs his dagger, 2 clips of ammunition for his pistol, and heads to the church.

*Oberons enters the morgue and looks around, Lesraes body has gone!*

"Schiesse! Where is he?!"

*His eyes land on the silver bullet sitting on the removal tray by the side of the table.*

"Verdamnt..."

"Oberon, Super Market, begin search for Lesrae's body now!" Chad orders. Holding his pistol in one hand, and dagger in the other, with water dripping down, Chad walks over to Letum, tells him to hold tight, and picks up the phone and calls the Inn.

"Penelope, alert the others, Lesrae's body has gone missing. I'm rushing over there, and from there we will organize a larger search party, I already have 2 people looking for it.

This is of grave danger to everyone in the community! If you find his body, burn it, smash it, stab a dagger throuh his heart that has been dipped in holy water, or shoot him with a silver bullet, and let the bullet remain forever in his body! I'm on my way!"

[Oberon]

*Oberon leaves the infirmary and sits down on a chair outside it, lost deep in thought. His uniform rustles and he looks at it and all that it means.*

*He shakes his head slowly, and then stands up and heads for the pub to find Oberst Chad.*

*Once inside the pub, he salutes Oberst Chad and requests to speak to him privately, they take a seat at the corner of the pub.*

"Herr Oberst, I am in a difficult position. I have, since the incidents..."

*He closes his eyes and forces himself to utter the words.*

"Since the...wulf attacks began, I have tried to conduct an impartial investigation, and yet...I cannot be truely impartial unless I can conduct an investigation with all people, free of rank. Herr Oberst, I believe, unless you can prove me otherwise, that I will be unable to continue this investigation whilst a ranking member of the Wehrmacht and keep it impartial. It is therefore my belief, unless you can prove otherwise, that I should resign from the Wehrmacht effective immediately until a time that I am confident that I am able to reapply."

"I apologise."

Good. Now that I have your attention i have a few things I want to get off my chest... while I still have one! Firstly its come to my attention that some people suspect I am one of these beasts. Ok fine whatever... you know what, go with that. Line me up. Shoot me. My death will mean I am out of this craziness and being shot is preferable to being tore apart, but... you will be helping the wolves get closer to winning and killing us all there, I have just out and out stepped from the shadows and revealed my true intention. I know there are a few people in front of me who are probably wolves. Lapping up your breakfast there, drinking your beer... trying to wash down the intrails of JcWolf, Nokia et al...???

I think the problems round here stem from selfish desires to self preserve, I in my haste to ensure my survival grassed up Mayor Contact, a guardian, a protector!!! To Chad over there... Well I'll tell you now... I don't care whether I live or die anymore... I've been honest now in life, in the event of my demise it will confirm what I have said is true. Am I bluffing? That's a possibility. But if I am telling the truth, then maybe just maybe its high time we started to get things sorted.

I think its high time the subterfuge and under the table politics ended. Im confused and afraid... You know who I vote for to get shot... ME!!! I vote for me.... Its a miricle I have lived as long as I have!! So far we have just been relying on blind luck to get anywhere and the only people we've managed to shoot have just been humans!! So what the hell... one more won't matter. A bluff? Yes it could be, the only way you will know for sure is if you have me shot! So what the hell!

*Throws arms in air in despair*

But if anything I have said strikes any chords with you, there was a phonecall a moment ago from the Oberst. Lesrae's body is misisng. Maybe you should finish your food then go look for it. If that gets found, it might just point you in the right direction.

[Weiss Pinguin]

Pinguin, seeing the sudden increase in activity onshore, reaches a hasty decision.

"I'm going ashore," he calls down through the speaker, before pushing his cap down on his head. As he leaves he casts a quick glance at the MG34's stored in the conning tower...

*Oberon resigns from the Wehrmacht*

"Herr Oberst, before I leave, there is just one thing, and please forgive me, but I must do this for my own benefit. Hold this weapon for me, will you?"

*Oberon holds out the silver gun.*

*Chad's at working busy melting silver chalices, coins, and whatever else he can find to mold into bullets

Upon finishing, he finally arrives at the Inn to hear Penelope's speech.*

"She is right, Lesrae's body is missing. I already have A Very Super Market searching as we speak.

And yes, it is true, I have given Oberon permission to go on a leave of absence to continue the investigation without the Wehrmacht title to his name. He is not partial to anyone, or anything now. Now, he is relying on science, and facts to make his claims.

Now, we need to organize a larger search party for Lesrae's body. Mookiemookie, take one other with you on your postal trip, maybe you'll spot something while walking around delivering the mail.

Penelope, you may stay here, but search the rooms. Maybe someone, or something, dragged his body up the stairs during the night.

Jimbuna, search your boat high and low. They possibly could of taken his body on board while you were asleep.

Everyone else, search. And come back in a couple of hours to cast today's lynch vote. Maybe we can find something else that will point us in the right direction.

"The body is not onboard U-13, Herr Oberst. I have just come from there, and there are no secrets onboard a U-boat... Something I should've remembered yesterday," he adds somberly, fingering the letter in his pocket. "What can I do to help?"
