Looking forward to a U.S. Pacific sim. It will be nice to sail under my own flag again. Although I do hope any updates or fixes will be grandfathered into the Atlantic.

Why are milkcows and wolfpacks so obvious? Game wasn't harmed by the lack of neither as far as I am concerned. It was the sloppy simulation model more than anything, not a shallow prestige project like wolf packs. So I voted on the "less obvious" bit.

They are obvious because they were expected to be in the game. Not just because past sims had had them, but because one of the Q and A sessions early on in the development said they would be in the game. I was about June/July of 04 time frame.

When you say sloppy simulation model, do you mean things like not being able to control most aspects of the sub (like each engine...dive planes....etc) or more along the lines of how things were coded....(like AI)? I can see that I guess...though I would have to humbly disagree that the game was not harmed by not adding Friendly AI subs. Thats just crazy talk
