I finally found the tutorial by Peabody on how to include a new ship or boat into sh4. But it's hard going, if get the Adua600 launched from La Spezia I'll let you know. Need a list of Italian bases 1940.

Ok thanks for that, I can add new bases no problem, but they will be under the German flag for now. Type 7c now launched from La Spezia pending new bases.
The Adua is not seaworthy right now, this is proving tricky, I may have restart this one, I'll let you know. Right now I'm keeping development stock as not to confuse myself, additional ships can be added later. Getting the Adua playable is highest priority. Any help here would be welcome. Regards, Sid. |

The regia marina have for some period some 7c. (middle war. when the subs began to miss too).
And the platino class of the 600 series, was much similar to a type 7. very much. |

p.s. for italian subs, it's better use american fleet boat interiors.
(italian sub was much large inside than u boots. so, for the coastal medium size 600 sub we can use s boat interiors. and for the ocean going medium and large size we can use the others.). |

I agree, but i hope we use this solution only for the beta, I am now learning a lot about 3d modelling, and once i'm done with the sound (about 40% through at the moment) I would be happy to remap the interior of our subs

Right I've moved across to campaign layers for the Med theatre of operations. I have so far kept everything stock as to aliminate as many possibilities of errors. Cybermat it's doing the depth gauges, and other for "italianize" interiors. like have do the russians in soviet waters. (for the beta. later have give a russian look to a type ix interiors. it's very much hard redoing completely interiors.).

I've completed lots of Mediterranean campaign objectives but on running found them very boring. I decided to start again so I deleted them and made a start on a some ideas I have. Got the first one up and running this morning. ![]() Good hunting. Sid |

One thing sid, during the war (especially from the end of 1941)the italian submarines made a lot of spy missions on enemy harbors end transporting of material and spies.
(from June 10th 1940 to June 25th 1940 It subs were against France fleet, from October 28th 1940 to April 23th 1941 it subs were against the Hellenic fleet And from 6th to 17th April 1941 it subs were against Yugoslavian fleet) I hope that you will make some missions near that territories in that period. |

Yes I totally agree with you Kapitain Oliver, I just purchased some info on the Med campaign and there lots more to think about than I first thought. Right now I have a working campaign from 2 ports with 3 missions that still need a bit of work. One is a spy mission
