My bestest mate knew Liam Neeson when he was a kid (my bestest mate, that is, not Liam Neeson). His family were a bit luvvy back then and Liam (I feel I can call him that now) used to go 'round their house to visit and talk about acting and stuff.

He also knew the bald guy in Game Of Thrones, which of course I find much more interesting...

I just remembered that years ago I saw Benny Hill's sidekick rushing along the lower High Street in Tunbridge Wells (near the Station). Why are famous people always in a big hurry? I wondered whether it might be worth following him until all the scantily-clad women appeared...

Have only met 3 famous people, when i was working at a hotel/resort in Cooinda, Jabiru Northern Territory Australia.

1: Nicole Kidman, very nice and very sexy woman.

2: Ian Thorpe, even back then i knew he was gay.

3: Lee Kernigan, country singer, he was a bit up himself.

A few years ago we took our boy to a disco organised by the school PTA. There was food, a kids' magician and then, bugger me, who should come on stage but Elvis Presley! If you'd blown on me I would've fallen over, honest!

Imagine my disappointment, however, when he turned out to be just some local bloke doing an impersonation of 'The King'. I thought about asking for my money back.

I met some guy in a robe named Tenzin Gyatso. He stopped by the boat on a private tour thanks to a few of the crew who were in the know..

Unlike other visiting dignitaries I remember him being a really humble dude who was genuinely interested in meeting everyone and becoming a friend. He was a kewl dude.
