It can and has been proved. Documents and 1st hand accounts.

I'm talking about abortions. I'm a Catholic. I don't think it's right.

Also - personally I think we should be researching less into birth control and more into keeping teenagers (and in some cases not even that) from having sex.

Alright, let me find the links... It's been a while since I wrote the report on it. New HDD so I can't just pull up the bibliography...

Here's a link I found. I'm not trying to say the organization is currently involved in eugenics, but it was in the beginning.

SOURCE

Margaret Sanger was a bad woman.

Okay, fair enough. I did not know that, and now I do.

Second question: Does the tendencies or beliefs of the founder mean that the present organization have the same purpose? My meaning is that should we equate the existence of a group who tries to help young women make life decisions with the narrow beliefs of one, or several, of the founders?

I detect an attempt to equate all abortions with those beliefs.

As for that, it is open. I do think it'd make it easier for to get away with such practices.

Good luck with that, abstinance only has worked marvelously so far. Oh wait, no it hasn't, it hasn't worked at all. Countries and states with proper sexual education have way lower teen pregnancy and STD transmission rates and abortions than areas where abstinance only is taught.

Just out of interest, what is the current Catholic teaching on people telling lies?
After all with the editing of those videos on planned parenthood it does make those good pro life activists liars too doesn't it

I already made my point that they proved those videos to be legitimate.

And I still can't find the "block" feature...

Did you really? yet wasn't it found that the videos had been very heavily edited so as to change entire passages which amounted to misrepresentation of the facts.
Which in case you didn't understand is lying.
So no you didn't Anthony, it was found that the original unedited videos were legitimate but not those videos as was presented by the activists.

Ask in Confession, I am sure they will help you step into denial if you ask nicely.
You are going to seek absolution for your all your previous lies ain't you, I mean as a Catholic you must think it ain't right.

With all due respect Anthony but teaching teenagers not to have sex won't work. Part of teenagers life tends to be disregarding parents orders and rules. I don't understand why they would make exception in mortal pleasures.

Only because modern society has removed the stigma and consequences attached to it. It's doing them no favors either.

You maybe correct August. I'm propably too young to remember such time and I'm Finn not American so...

After all it doesn't really matter. We are currently living the (quite) early 21st century and world changes. Unless people are able (and ready) to change current reality back to "good old times" then (atleast some) teenagers will have sex. Period.

I personally see prevention* more sensible path than abstience.

*I didn't use "birth control" as it dismisses secondary role of such device as condom. Which is to prevent diseases from spreading.

I don't see the two methods as mutually exclusive.
